Large, comfortable room. Decent sized TV. The room was comfortably warm. Good quality bed linen on a very comfortable bed.
I found the shower temperature a wee bit hard to get right but that could have just been me !

The welcome from the reception staff on duty was superb, really friendly and knew about our multi room booking just by my name. All staff we encountered during our over overnight stay were super. Beds were very comfy, Rooms were nice and tastefully decorated. Parking was a great bonus.
Some of our rooms had a light smell of paint and unfortunately the hotel was covered in scaffolding. I understand work has to be done but a heads up to the work being undertaken would have been nice. However this did not spoil our get together and I would certainly stay again!

I've been to many Malmaisons throughout the UK, and this is not Malmasion standards far from it ive been to better Travelodges, our second room was slightly better than the dark smelly outdated 1st room that was covered in dust due to the front of the hotel being covered in scaffolding with the window being left open, the 2nd room was also stinking of what I can describe as bodily oudor and very dark the head board had a terrible smell also coming from it the bathroom was vastly outdated like 30 years, there's no way the photos on the website as highlighted are anything like you get very disappointed considering what I paid i will never be back.

Great location in leith
The whole building ( which is beautiful) was covered head to toe in scaffolding, which made the room extremely dark. We had to move rooms as there was no walk in shower and my elderly mother would not have been safe to climb over the bath to take a shower, the staff were very helpful and got us moved to another room. They also take additional money as a guarantee on your card which I haven’t had before.

Ideal for the restaurant I was going to.
I moved room because there was a constant noise in the room, but when we came back to our new room at night, there was a noise that went on all night! Difficult to sleep!!!
