Last minute booking and we were delighted. Nice, relaxed location and plenty of choice for restaurants and cafes, tram into Edinburgh was super easy. We would book Malmaison locations anytime. Friendly, helpful staff especially in the bar.

Location was excellent, easy to get to and free parking. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Dated 80s looking decor, windows were old and unclean looking (dirty edging/seal).

Decor is all grey, we where on the top floor in a club deluxe room, very dark, only two small windows could be opened, little air circulation

The lady who checked us in was extremely pleasant and helpful.
The room was very small. The bathroom fan had nowhere to turn it off and was on the whole time. The bed was very close to the bathroom so couldn’t escape the fan noise.
The service in the bar was appalling.
