Free on site car parking, which made the trip stress free finding a space was easy and would mean we would visit again. Comfy beds and extra pillows. Room window opened for fresh air. Lovely evening mea in chezMal on site it was Thursday half price steak night and although that was the steak only any sides were extra! David the waiter went above beyond he was very attentive and helpful. Receptionist very helpful and quick check in. Proximity to tram stop and lovely area.
Room was badly lit. No air con. Breakfast expensive. Bar closed early. Didn't think it was any better than a premier inn, thought a Malmaison would be something special. Postcode on booking.com lead to dead end and the wrong side of hotel when set in sat nav.

Breakfast service or lack of . Turned up sat at dirty table full of dishes and I had to ask for dishes to be taken away . When breakfast arrived I had to ask for clean cutlery .

The room smelled stale when I arrived, and I had to throw the window wide. Breakfast was poor value, with limited options in the continental buffet, and no butter, only margarine. There are much nicer options in the cafes down the road.

The visit was to celebrate both our 30th anniversary and my wife's birthday. On arrival we were upgraded to room 320, which was fantastic in every department including facilities, location with amazing views through the triple-aspect windows. Couldn't wish for a better room. Although we did not dine at the hotel we had a drink in the bar which was excellent with courteous, pleasant and knowledgeable staff. The reception staff were also lovely, helpful and efficient
The only problem we encountered, and it seems petty, considering we had a fanstastic stay, was there was a section of carpet at the bottom of the bed which was threadbare. Disappointing for such a great roo,, which took a little bit of the shine of an otherwise perfect stay

Location, superb breakfasts, large room, large beds. Lots of bottled water, tea and coffee sachets. Welcomed at Reception with haggis meatballs and margaritas!
Shower was over the bath, difficult for me to get into and impossible for my husband who walks with a stick. Dinner choice poor. Broken coffee machine reported first day and subsequent, still not replaced by the day we left. Duvets far to hot for summer weather

Free parking. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Location is good for Tram.
The dinner menu, the room was cold and needing revamp. Electric heating not the best.

The property was excellent
We were very disappointed as we had booked Centre Malmaison not this one as we didn’t know they were true. I just spoken to somebody who really told me I’ll be overlooking the castle.
