The location was great—very convenient and close to everything I needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I would definitely stay here again.
I was really disappointed with the breakfast. It didn’t live up to expectations and definitely wasn’t worth the price. I’d recommend skipping it and finding food elsewhere.

The beds are really comfortable and it’s the only hotel that we stay at that I don’t have to bring my own pillow as they have fabulous feather pillows.
The curtain rail was broken on arrival but they had it sorted by the time we came back from dinner. Excellent service!

Comfy beds and the bar area is a nice place to chill out. The location is perfect for exploring Leith and Edinburgh centre is only a cab ride away.
I last stayed in this hotel many years ago...probably almost 10. I don't think much has changed to be honest. The rooms and corridors are all looking tired now and the rooms are badly in need of touching up to the point of tatty. Not the fine hotel I remember to be honest and I wouldn't stay here again. I think most premier inns have a higher standard.

Nice polite staff. Good food and reasonably priced. Good ambiance throughout the hotel.
Creaky floorboards in the room above ours.
The bathroom fan ran permanently and would not go off.
Fire alarm sounded at 1am and the hotel was evacuated. Two fire tenders attended. There seemed to be no organisation and little communication between staff and guests. It was a bit of a shambles.
No explanation the next day.

Beautiful spacious room with great amenities
Nobody’s fault but the fire alarm going off twice in the night wasn’t great. Staff were helpful, I realise this was for our safety but obviously not a great sleep

All felt a little standard. Nothing special or out of ordinary. Staff were helpful . But it was expensive with no real moment where thought oh this is great!
Duvet was too heavy for time of year. Room lacked any personality. Reception tucked away in dark hall.
