Staff were very helpful and friendly, lovely location, room was spacious and clean. Provided bowls and a bed for our dog which was a nice touch. Tram stop close by to get into the city centre.
We had our dog with us and it was quite pricey for her to stay compared to other hotels that we have stayed in. £50 for two nights.

The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location for the food and drink establishments of Leith Shore with tram stops a short walk away to get in to Edinburgh centre.
The bathroom felt a little dated. It was not easy to open and close the window initially.

Location is great. Quieter area, on the waterfront and the tram is very nearby. Free onsite parking is a major plus.
The gentleman who checked us in was so helpful, we had arrived quite late and he was welcoming and, as we had such a short time in Edinburgh he kindly suggested a few highlights. Overall, after a very long drive it felt like a genuinely lovely welcome.

The night bites menu! We arrived approximately 9.30pm and the kitchen was closed! The night bites offerings were dismal, especially as I’m a vegetarian.
The bathroom needs a refurb. The headboard to the bed was fabric, I don’t find this hygienic in a hotel room at all.
Breakfast was akin to a basic B&B, yes plenty of choice but, quality not great, especially the meat on the full cooked breakfast apparently. It all just felt a little fawlty towers.

Arrival at hotel, warm and welcoming, greeted with haggis ball and a mini drink.
Room had everything we needed including safe and a mini fridge. Shower and bath in bathroom excellent. Loved the extras including, coffee machine, chocolates and massage soap. Great location easy to walk to the tram for the city. Had room service which was delivered quickly and was delicious. Free car parking, we had no issues but not secure.
Pillows were very soft, no alternative options.
Would have liked improved security, to have to use swipe card to access lift and stairs, as anyone can enter bedroom corridors.

One of the few hotels with free car parking. Lovely location.
Noisy bathroom fan which was continuous. Reported to cleaner who said she would deal with it but it was not reported or fixed.
