Pleasant
The location was ideal as it was really close to a lot of the Edinburgh attractions. It was a short walk to the golden mile.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. A shoutout to the gentleman behind the bar on 23/03/26 who bought my fiancée and I a free drink after finding out we were getting married that week. The cocktails were delicious, especially the Espresso Martini.
The room was very spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The teas/coffees were always restocked after each cleaning service.
The cost per night for the room was very reasonable especially for a city. We paid approx £110 per night.
The price of food vs the portions in the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. For comparison we walked to a nearby pub and had a full Scottish breakfast for around half the price.
This is personal preference but the temperature of the indoor pool wasn't as warm as I expected. It felt a little chilly when initially getting in.

The overall interior aesthetics are nice. Staff are helpful.
The parking is a faff and not much of a discount. The breakfast layout is a bit messy. The bedroom Aircon setup is awful.

The room was spacious and comfortable.
The bedroom is a little dated. The shower tray was slippy and we had to get a non slip mat. A soft close toilet lid would be better. The breakfast was a little bit unadventurous but good quality.

Location was great. Bedrooms clean and comfy bed!
Had a room right by the lift which wasn't pleasant but luckily we were tired from driving so it didn't bother us massively.
Breakfast was okay, the Glasgow Mariott had a better breakfast.

Lovely clean hotel, in a great location, reception staff professional, very helpful and friendly
The only negative about the hotel is when you are paying for a room and there is an additional £30 charge for breakfast I feel the parking charge of £25 per night is outrageous!

it is overpriced for it offers: the hotel looks tired. Breakfast is too expensive; spa facilities are tired. We tried to book ourselves as guests for massage and were told everything was already booked.

Disappointing
I only liked the buffet and staff serving the buffet. Reception staff were rude and did not want to help you even when you advised the room was not functional. Heating and aircon did not work.
