The staff were very friendly and always eager to help with any issue. The location of the hotel was excellent — right next to Holyrood Palace and within walking distance to all major tourist attractions in Edinburgh. I was very satisfied with my stay and would choose this hotel again in the future.
Cleanliness could be improved; the toilet and room were not as clean as expected.

Breakfast was great, room was beautiful.
The pool was closed on the evening of our stay for a private class. There was no mention of this at the time of our booking or at check-in and the pool was one of the selling points after walking around Edinburgh for the day.
