The size of the room, cleanliness was good. Breakfast was standard big hotel chain breakfast - ok.
We were given a room that looked directly onto the carpark and delivery area and at a busy location in the hotel so there was noise from guests and staff frequently. Far too expensive for what it was.

Location is nice and close to most interesting visiting places and in a quieter area. One can walk around near green Holyrood park area.
Waiting for breakfast....
We had to call someone on Saturday to get a place although other days we were shown with a place to sit. Later we felt sorry that there were more than 200 guests to serve breakfast, and with not enough hands to share the burden.

Very clean and modern hotel in a quiet part of the city. Staff were extremely helpful and engaging. Great to see a happy and motivated team.

The rooms were clean & spacious. Had everything we needed. Full length mirror, iron & ironing board in room was a nice touch. Anti mist mirror in bathroom was appreciated. Good pressure in shower.
Waited quite a while at breakfast for staff to take orders for coffee/tea & a la carte. . Order was forgotten on one occasion & had to chase it. No hot chocolate! Buffet breakfast luke warm.

It was the perfect location for us. The hotel was clean, light and staff welcoming and ready to help.
Would definitely recommend and return again.
Apart from our hairdryer and phone not working (hairdryer was resolved quickly).
There weren't any robes in the room, which would have been nice to be able to use the swimming pool etc.

Location
Room was not adequate for use. With disability cables everywhere despite not booking it as such. Difficult with a child who wanted to pull them not understanding what they where. Breakfast was a shamble. Empty Bread baskets dirty dishes everywhere. Almost no food left at 10am. I had finished my food by the time eggs arrived. I would not recommend this hotel. Definitely not a 4 star breakfast.
