Very Poor
Location.
The toilet was not clean and the toilet seat was not fully attached to the toilet, it seemed to be held on with some sort of glue. The owner did not acknowledge this issue when immediately reported on entry, and when we complained via booking.com after our stay, stated we hadn't reported the issue - this is unfortunately not the truth, as the owner did in fact respond to issues with the bed setup in the very same message. I have attached a screenshot of the conversation to this review for context.
As noted above, the second bed was not made up for two as requested and we had to find another sheet from the single bed and re-make the bed ourselves, this was ultimately fine, but worth noting given the attitude of this owner to our other complaints.
The shower also is exceptionally weak in terms of pressure. I haven't experienced a shower with so little water before. Very disappointing.
To date, I have never needed to leave a negative review on booking.com, and am very disappointed with the price we paid for this accommodation as it did not match the service we received. Hopefully this review is useful to other travellers.

The apartment was fully equipped, we didn't miss anything. The location is at a walking distsnce of the center and there are plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby

I liked the comfort of the apartment, nice and clean, everything i needed was there and i would love to book this apartment again in the future as its only 10 mins walk to the city centre and to most tourist attractions. I would highly recommend Lochrin Apartments.
Just afew issues with the doors apart from that everything was amazing.

Quiet location but central. The place was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable with lots of nice little touches......like plenty of tea/coffee....set of toiletries.
It was very cold when i first went in....and that usually does not bother me at all. Took a long time to heat up.

Appartment was in a quiet back street only 10- 15 min walk from the "old town' so just right. Rooms clean and comfortable and facilities just what were needed.

Apartment was well equipped, comfortable and spacious. Ideal for two people on a short visit. All the equippment was in good working order. There was adequate reading material and useful guides .
We arrived around 5pm. Instructions to find the keys were not very clear. Once inside the building, we found that it was very dingy and smelled musty. The stairs were not lit so we had to lug our heavy cases up 3 flights of steep stairs with the help of our mobile torches. This could have proved very dangerous, had one of us slipped in thd dark. One of the stairs was lose - should be looked at.

The little unit was perfect for us. A 10 minute walk to town centre, so didn't use car while staying in Edinburgh. The washing machine was a godsend to get clothes done, and a clothes airer was available also. Big windows so nice view of street, been in a dead end street meant no night traffic.
