Perfect location close enough to castle/ old town but far enough away to avoid the unnecessary noise. Train station & bus/tram stop two minutes away from hotel.
Good size room, plenty of tea and coffee as well as coffee pods. Everything was clean and tidy. Staff at the reception nice and friendly.
Quite expensive however considering the fact that August gets really busy due to all the festivals it was expected..

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room well equipped.
We booked and paid for a room for three and therefore didn’t expect much space. However this room was just not big enough to accommodate 2 adults and a 17 year old. Value for money not great at festival time.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with minding out bags while we explored before our room was ready. Breakfast spread had a great variety and offered veggie options in the hot breakfast!
The bathroom wall paper was a bit of a jump scare when you first walked it but once you got used to it I suppose it had some Scottish charm.

Excellent location near tram and bus stops. Also easy walk to old town. A few restaurants near the hotel. Room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea making supplies in the room. There is a restaurant and bar, which is also nice for convenience.
Very low water pressure in the shower, but would not stop me from staying again.

I liked the location. Breakfast service was great.
It looked like a hotel but performed like a motel. 2 staff members were nice. The rest weren't warm or polite at all. The restaurant had good food but terrible dinner service.

The location is excellent for a tourist visit, all major attractions except the yacht are withing 30 minutes of walk. The restaurant's kitchen closes very late if you missed the kitchen time in pubs.
The bathroom could be better - no separate ventilation (that I could find); water tap is ultra short, on the edge of the shallow sink, always splashes all over the place.

Our room was quite large. The staff were friendly. The beds were fantastic and the food in the hotel restaurant was good as well. The location is about a 20 minute walk to the royal mile and this makes for a nice quiet neighborhood to get some quality rest in. We definitely could have stayed another night here.
I received a message to park at the Fountain park car park, even though there is hotel parking on site. Outside of that, the stay was fantastic.
