The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food was excellent.
Bathroom was a bit dated, towel rail hanging at an angle.
Air conditioning kept resetting itself to 21 degrees, too warm for us.

Really nice hotel within a three minute walk from the Edinburgh Haymarket train station.
Check in was smooth. Kris on reception was very pleasant, polite and knowledgeable
Great pub opposite. Small shop next to that for any ‘in room’ provision you may need

The building itself, location, the layout of the room and how clean it was.
The beds were really bad, way too uneven and hard, we slept quite terribly during our three night stay. This is pretty bad considering how expensive this hotel is, we were expecting better.

Comfy bed. Bar staff member Kobi was excellent. Breakfast was good, decent amount of choice. Located about 15 mins from the castle as well as to Princes Street and we found a nice place nearby for breakfast on our first morning (before we could check in) and a really nice Italian restaurant, L’Artgiano.
The welcome at Reception when we arrived left a lot to be desired. Efi was not at all friendly or helpful. We left bags until we were able to check in properly, the same member of staff didn’t even recognise us from a few hours prior and she made us follow her to what turned out to be the wrong location for our baggage. Checking out was a similar bad experience - same staff member. We weren’t even asked if we had enjoyed our stay. Staff at the Breakfast service were not particularly helpful either. Shower wouldn’t turn off when first used, had to ring up for assistance. Disappointing since location was fine and Edinburgh itself was fabulous.

Clean, comfortable and spacious. Good parking. Good choice at breakfast with plenty of fruit.
A bit corporate but hard to criticise for that! A bit of a hike to the castle and town centre but good for steps!

I stayed here for 2 nights after my airbnb didn't work out. So I did book last minute and it was $700CAD which is quite expensive. My room was on the 2nd floor and it was quiet except in the morning i could hear a bit of construction but not that loud. I was there during the week and on my own. I am a solo female traveler and felt safe. Its in a great location, 15-20 min walk from most places. The Haymarket station is super close which was helpful. The staff were friendly - I think Scottish people are always very nice and friendly so no complaints. I did have a little delay in check-in cus of their computer being down but it was okay.
The only thing I wish the shower pressure was a bit better. Also for $350/ night I wish breakfast was included.
