Nice sized room, comfortable bed, good variety of tea/coffee & refreshments.
Location was very good.
All staff were polite, informed and very helpful.
Couldn't master the lighting or heating controls- room was freezing on arrival and so increased the temp from 18° to 20°. After an hour there was no change so increased the temp to 25° - after some time still no change.
I went down to reception to let them know, and they successfully and remotely increased the temp to 20°.
Why was this adjustment not possible from inside the room.
Lighting was also an issue as it was not intuitive.
Spent several minutes pressing buttons that did not seem to bear any relation to what I wanted I.E. all sections were described as 'scenes' rather than describing their function.
As a result I resorted to all 'ON' or all 'OFF as I did not have time to spend working this out - I was only staying for one night.

Location
Door into toilet area falling off tracking si that it could not be closed and seemed ready to fall. As a result it was very difficult to use the facility and there was no privacy.
The breakfast was poor, just 1x slice of toast!!!! And the choice seemed OK but was in reality not sufficient, no fruit or pastries offered

The room was beautiful and elegant and the staff were very friendly.
The noise from outside was terrible. I could hear music playing loudly until about 2.30 am. The double glazing in the windows just didn’t block it out. If I was travelling for fun it wouldn’t have been so bad but I had an early work meeting so it wasn’t great.

Great location, clean and tidy. Staff were as helpful as their roles allowed.
Broken sink tap and air conditioning unit. Reported but unfixed on departure. Extremely long wait for breakfast and lacking basic things ie marmalade, soya milk etc.
Nightclub/Bar in basement, loud music/noise until the early hours, not advertised.
Lacked overall management
