Rooms are spacious, they have everything you need, good location. Themed rooms are a nice idea. The hotel had a nice temp, both warm and kool. Vintage and rustic styling.
N/A only thing is it can be a little on the higher cost bracket, but it is Edinburgh.

Everything from the moment we walked in. Polite checking in staff who explained everything clearly and informed us about the complimentary room upgrade which was the perfect surprise. The room had everything you could possibly need and more

Reception informed me that the bar was open until 23.30. When I returned to the hotel at 22.45 after dinner I went to the bar. The girl behind the bar told me they were closed as it was quiet and she could not offer me a drink as she had already put her utensils away for cleaning. She was surrounded by glasses and drink options. Very disappointing in an Edinburgh city centre hotel in the middle of the Edinburgh Fringe / Festival. I travel to Edinburgh regularly with work and this was my first stay in this hotel. It hardly encourages me to try the hotel again.

That the coffee pot had a used tea bag in it, when I tried to order room service no one answered phone (tried numerous times) and often reception during my stay had no staff on

Nice hotel with trendy decoration, good lounge and bar Very nice bedroom, well equipped. Nice friendly staff. Very well positioned in the city.
Bedrooms on the street side are very noisy during the night with the people around the bar/ disco down in the street (but it was the Fringe festival, so very busy !)
