The hotel is in a lovely location - very central and easy. The view was really nice and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
The room se up was very odd - I know it's a boutique hotel, but, hmm. There is a strange lighting system that is arranged into 'scenes' which never quite worked/tries to be too clever and fails. The shower in our room (Havana) was on one side of the bed, but the rest of the bathroom was through a huge, heavy fire door to the right of the bed, which was not the most convenient. Also, as with boutique hotels where the designers are all about prettiness and not practicality, there was nowhere around the sink to put stuff and the only mirror was beyond the big heavy door in the bathroom! Also, breakfast is one item plus one drink from the menu, which is fine (it is probably putting greedy breakfast hoarders in their place and saving the planet at the same time!) as long as this is stated at time of booking. You can have more, but at a charge.

Location was great. The food was good. The room was roomy.
The uber fancy lighting system didnt work very well and was confusing. The restaurant was good but be aware, its a large and busy bar. Very loud. And we could hear the Saturday night revellers late into the night.

Old fashioned property. Has not been brought up to standard even to match 2-3 star hotel. Various things in the room did not work it was shabby and small.

Location is very good, traditional good breakfast , big rooms with all facilities
Is a club next to the hotel , runs till 4-5 am. Do not book accommodation on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.

lovely room and staff
unfortunately it was extremely loud and noisy from people outside and pounding music from the hotel bar below until late into the night. When paying circa 300 / night would expect a comfortable nights sleep. more minor point was that light system was difficult to work and one of the light buttons for the bathroom was almost unusable.

Location was excellent, great shower
Floor in the bedroom was extremely slippery and the light switches were so incomprehensible we had to call reception to switch them off at night. Even with the demonstration we still couldn't figure them out satisfactorily.

Fun design. Casual elegance.
Mechanics and electrical in the room was poor. Couldnt turn off lights due to a faulty and very involved lighting system. Cable and Wi-Fi were very poor.

The decor and quality of the room was very good. The location of the hotel is excellent. The bar is also good.
Room 303 (Berlin), and I presume other rooms, has single glazed windows and overlooks a loud nightclub, with queueing (screaming and shouting) clubbers. Its a shame, as the room was very good.

The towels!
A lot of noise outside the hotel. Sounded like a pub/bar emptying a large bin of glass bottles at least once every night after 11pm. Breakfast sparse.
