Wonderful
The views were excellent (could see Arthur’s peak from my sky light). Huge room, comfortable bed. Shower pressure was good, and toiletries included shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner which were some of the best smelling products I’ve seen in a (budget) style hotel. Location was only 8 min from royal mile but felt quieter.

The bed was very comfortable, room was very clean, the shower was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, there were great bars and restaurants just around the corner

The room was very smart and clean. Breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfy. The hotel was so close to my conference at the Royal College of Surgeons - so it was the perfect location for me. I was booked into an Airbnb, but it was a complete disaster, so I managed to book a room at this hotel and check in within 30 minutes! It was such a relief!

Easly left the luggages before/after check-in/out. So clean. Comfortable toilet/baths/bed. 15 min walk to city center and train station. Helpful and kind staff.
The tlny things I could say: Breakfast was not suitable for Turkish culture. Room was a little bir small as well.

the staff are all very friendly and only 10-15mins walk away to princess street / Holyrood park / royal miles / authur‘s seat

The room is clean and the hotel location was a good walking distance from most attractions. However, the window being single pane and old meant noise from the street can be heard. And a slight draft can be felt. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a nice touch and appreciated.

Little bit more noisy Neglected maintenance and deeper cleaning of the rooms (fans in toilet were full of dust and we found some spider lines)

The location is very convenient and you can walk to any attractions.
The soundproofing was poor, I thought at least during Easter weekend the neighborhood would be quieter. But every morning I could hear the recycling truck from the hotel next door collecting glass bottles. I didn't sleep well at all during my 2 night stay.
