Wonderful
Location was excellent. Walking distance to many restaurants and to the royal mile. Short walk to the Calton Hill and Edinburgh castle The hotel was clean and comfortable

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location to central Edinburgh
Value for money is non existent. Room was extremely warm(windows only opened about 20mm). Beds were uncomfortable. Size of room for what you pay is insanely overpriced. They fail to mention the constant noise which surrounds the hotel on weekend, deliveries on the weekend at 6am so if you don’t like sleep then this is the place for you. If you want to be woke up on a Sunday morning with a fire alarm as well this is handy

Great location, very comfortable bed, good breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. Genuinely some of the most friendly and helpful I’ve encountered in many hotels.
Windows had limited opening so room a bit airless. No lift in our section and so baggage upstairs was a challenge (only 2 floors but currently have injuries- didn’t think it was in staff scope to ask them to help). Price ok but expensive for room size.

Really friendly staff, comfy and clean room.
Noisy outside with deliveries coming in and room was really hot but too noisy to keep window open.

The hotel and the room were nice and clean but it was increadibly overpriced given that there were no other facilities offered, breakfast was not included and on the back there was a continuous noisy movements of vans and lorries since very early in the morning.

The place was spotless, great facilities, hair dryer superb, iron, extra hand mirror for doing make up, the bed was so comfy, shower was excellent!
It was roasting!! Yes we had a fan but that didn’t cut it! Legit was so hot in the room you could hardly breathe. Couldn’t get ready the sweat was pouring off us. There needs to be an air con installed into the rooms. Also there is a Lidl behind the hotel who woke us up on a Saturday morning at 7 throwing bottles into bins! Just what you want when you are hungover! Then the following morning on the Sunday someone out with a chainsaw cutting their bush at 8 in the morning. Then there was a fire alarm at half 8 so that was an absolute nightmare!

Clean, quiet, everything that one could want was in the room.
Breakfast was good overall. Coffee and tea facilities at breakfast weren’t great. The coffee machine was cumbersome to use to get hot water for tea in a teapot and the coffee wasn’t great.

Amazing location, Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Well worth the money.
We were on the 4th floor with no lift. Not a deal breaker but would have been good to have prior knowledge of that after a long journey and lots of walking.

We stayed here the second time. Location is perfect for seeing the hotspots of the city and you have a 5min walk to climb Arthur’s seat. Quit street, but rooms to the courtyard can be a little loud, when the the nearby supermarket gets the delivery truck in the morning. Super friendly and helpful staff members though. Breakfast was delicious but more basic than the last time due to some changes they made.
Room is a little bit too small, especially for two people with two suitcases. No elevator and no parking available (but you can use a parking space about 5min drive for reduced price).
