Truly enjoyed our stay at Kingsway Guest House. The location is great for public transport or even walking into the city centre. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. We definitely enjoyed delicious breakfasts and haggis was first class. We would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

The location was super, lovely area within walking distance of city centre.
Plenty of parking, as we had arranged to check in after 9pm keys were waiting as emailed from the owners. Room was on second floor 2 flights of stairs not a problem and 3 single beds.
The room and ensuite had everything we needed and a lovely folder with lots of useful information inside.
The breakfasts where ordered the night before and you could chose a time when to eat. Dining room is laid out well and is really rather grand but homely at the same time. We stayed 2 nights and our breakfasts were good both days. The bacon is just so tasty.
I have no problem advising people to use this guest house. It's a gem. The owners are lovely to

Lizzie was a great host and made us feel instantly welcome.
The room was lovely and spotless. The bed was very comfy.
The breakfast in the morning was delicious!
The added bonus of parking was great
The guest house is about a 25 minute walk to the bottom of the royal mile - or Lizzie gave us great instruction on how to use the bus. We were happy to walk it though and see the great views of Arthur's seat.

Very enjoyable stay, cosy and clean, friendly hosts, great breakfast, walkable distance into town but also great bus connections so never waiting more than a few minutes. Would happily recommend to a friend.
Stairs are not ideal as they are a little steep but I think this will be the same for most houses in this area

Very cute guesthouse, with a very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast, good location for those coming by car to Edinburgh. (Because you can park and walk to the city). The hosts are super friendly and very attentive,
Not much to point out. The bathrooms are small and I would add a bit more pressure on the shower and perhaps a hairdryer in the room. All and all very nice accommodation, however in my opinion overpriced for what you get.

Hosts were lovely and welcoming. The room was great.Clean accommodation. Beds were comfortable and an excellent hot breakfast !!! Wonderful xxx definitely recommend.
I guess an upgrade on the shower? It was ok but not powerful enough to wash a head of thick curly hair....haha, so I'm probably moaning about something that wouldn't bother most people x

The only one minor thing was that the showers were not powerful at all in either room. If had better shower would have been a full 10 :)
