Cute hotel with nice staff and very convenient location of the hotel - only a 15 minute ride to the city centre. The bus station is right next to the hotel.
There was hardly any space in our room to hang our clothes.

Great location, Excellent and helpful all staff (specially Hamza), Comfortable rooms.
Summers are getting hot so property should consider to put AC in rooms. We were provided with 2 good fans and we were comfortable but this is general comments for all such properties in the UK.

Comfortable bed perfect after a full day of sightseeing. good location—far enough from the city centre to stay away from the city life noise but with plenty of good bus connections.
The shower was a bit difficult to operate—scalding hot water despite the dial set to low temperature. The bathroom also wasn’t all that clean and I spotted someone’s hair in a few places upon arriving.

The hotel is in a good locatoin. It is close to the local shops and restaurants. It would be a good location for people coming to visit the University of Edinburgh.
We came in August, the hotel was far too expensive. The facilities in the room were not old and not in a good condition. Bath blocked, toilet don't flush well, breakfast far too expensive and the food options were very limited.

Good location on bus route into city centre.
Shower tray would benefit from non-slip surface.

Hosts were great but the hotel itself requires refurbishment.
Once in Edinburgh at night, there are "NO" taxis available, not even at the Taxi ranks where we were told to go......we had to walk 5 miles back to the Hotel.
This I believe happens all the time, beware if staying out of the City Centre.
Also Edinburgh is very dirty and unkept, the roads are impassable in places with pot-holes.

The check in process was a breeze and the staff was very attentive. The property does not have lifts so we had to carry our bags. The staff offered to help with the bags. The room was nice and open. Bottled water was provided throughout the stay. The front desk was responsive about recommendations to get to the hotel from Waverly.
The bathroom roof had mold infested hole, that was dripping water. It was just a drop or two every 10-15 seconds, but still disturbing. We complained to the front desk and even sent pictures, but did not get any response. My daughter had water drip on her, and she just had to take a shower afterwards.
The carpet in the room could have used vacuuming. Breakfast for the morning needs to be ordered by night.
