Location & view. Atho' other family members backed up to construction site & early morning noise.
While we didn't get the king royal that we reserved, the hotel compensated on the room rate, having to crawl onto bed in ADA room, and wet floor, bathroom mirror too high for short people.

Pleasant rooms that have been recently refurbished . Convenient location.
There was a musty smell in our room and the corridor outside. Our view was onto a lot of bins and efforts could have been made to disguise them in some way. We were woken up by bins/ trolleys being moved in the early morning.

A clean, well-located hotel. Perfect for city breaks and walks. Breakfast was good (they will make you an omelet on request and that's a big plus), though don't expect miracles (don't count on good bread and cheeses and cold cuts are also a rather limited selection), but it was decent for Scotland. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, and well-maintained.
I took a bit better room (615) and thought it will be really better, but the most paintful was the fact, that windows were impossible to open or even repeal. Other, less painful but visible signs of wear and tear in the rooms included doors that were difficult to close due to a poorly fitted lock and door frame, and peeling wallpaper on the walls or the stench from an empty and non-cooling refrigerator, but this is still not so important.

They have great breakfast with buffet style. With lots to choose, having the salad bar, and also yummy croissants plus the freshly making egg corner where you can order omelets or any kind of eggs.
Their lobby has good space to sit and relax, with fruits and drinks provided for free.
The toilet has good enough space.
Can't really think of any.

I only had to choose this property because Booking cancelled my first reservation at the last minute. It was okay, nothing particularly stood out to me.
The soundproofing of the room was very poor. My room had an extra door, which seems to suggest it was originally part of a suite converted into a single room. Because of this, I could clearly hear people talking in the next room.

Horrible queen bed. The air conditioner can not be adjusted. The pillows are not comfortable. If you are paying this price you will think you can rest comfortably but no! The noise, you can hear everything
