The breakfast was amazing. Great omelettes. Location was very convenient and central. Food in bar was good.
We were put I. A room facing the back of the hotel. Construction noise and seagull screams are unbearable from this location. Our room had two beds, we’d requested one, and was quite tight as a result. The reception most often did not answer the phones.

Wonderful
We were moved to a better room on this stay, it was quieter, had a bit more space, and much brighter. The location is perfect - just down from Waverly Station and a short walk to the Royal Mile, the Castle, and Grass Market Area.

The bed was comfortable and there was enough space for two large suitcases in the room. Breakfast was good, with lots of options. Location was good, close to key areas, and an okay view.
Only one nightstand, which was slightly inconvenient. Trash under the bed. There was an awful smell in the hallway.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, quiet at night, and had everything we needed—including toiletries in the bathroom. We had no trouble resting after a long day exploring the city. The location was perfect—right next to the train station, which made travelling around super convenient.

Small rooms. No a/c in one of 3 rooms. Hotel promised to refund some money. They seemed to care about our situation but I left unhappy.

They managed to change the second day our room because the room 404 was awful: dark, dirty, noisy. The second one wasn't good but better. Don't let them give you that room.
Also, at check out the receptionist was concerned and she gave us a compensation.
