I loved the pub decor and location, Queensferry itself is wonderful to stay in, and you can walk from the hotel to everything.
I was so looking forward to staying here, but sadly my room (4) was tiny, needed redecorating, was overheated with limited ventilation, and noisy from boy racers then a bin truck right outside at 5am. It was not at all like the pictures suggested, and in very disappointing condition with peeling paint everywhere. Staff at check in were not particularly friendly. Pub itself was beautiful so it’s a shame the rooms are not of the same quality.

The staff were amazing, so helpful, and the whole place was exceptionally clean. The location for the local train station and restaurants is brilliant.
The food wasn't great and it's quite noisy late at night/early morning with the train bridge. No problem if you're a deep sleeper, but be aware if not!

Location great and town historic.
Had big room room 14 family room.
Views of bridges fantastic
Did not get the room I booked 8mths ago.
Got a family room and NO sea view just carpark view.
Staff made out I had not booked for breakfast but previous comment's prepared me and I had printed out to show them.

Pleasant
Lovely hotel with great, friendly staff. Proximity to the bridges and ease of access to Edinburgh and Fife on the train could not be faulted.
Sadly, South Queensferry attracts a large anti-social car cruising crowd that makes excessive noise through all hours of the night with revving engines and screeching tyres.

The Bridge. Oh and the sunrise and sunset. Simply stunning. Ask for room 10. Outside is lively and the trains rumble and clatter into the night and from early morning but hey you’re underneath possibly the greatest railway bridge ever built
Nothing really. Went there for the location
