Firstly, good location if you are from Europe and with rental car like me (because the steering wheel is on other side) and don't want to drive yourself in city center. There is nice free parking and also hotel itself, especially I want to point out the employees - they are very friendly and helpful. Very nice bar. Rooms are ok, comfortable beds (which is very important) and nice breakfast.
Rooms has strange thin windows (maybe because it's an old house), which feels like open all the time, but in reality - are closed. Especially in bathroom you can feel the breeze coming from them.

Breakfast was very good, thank you.
Location excellent as going for a bus to airport. Bus stop just about 50 yards down the road. So perfect. The staff were also very nice and helpful.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, can't fault them. Food at the attached carvery was just ok the night we went. The bathrooms are nicely renovated and large. Fine for a one night stay but I wouldn't recommend for longer.
The rooms are very small, if you have two people and two big bags you will struggle to squeeze in. Once you need the ironing board, it's almost impossible to move. There is no aircon, they provided a small fan but it doesn't do the job on a warm night. We couldn't leave the window open due to a noisy extractor unit just outside.

Great location for the venue we were attending (Murrayfield). The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bonus of having the carvery was the icing on the cake! The rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable.

The staff on site was helpful and friendly. However, I was told they did not receive my request for a 'twin room', as the reservation/message system was managed by their parent company. It seems like there is very ineffective and poor communication within their hotel chain.

Location was brilliant, easy bus routes to and from the city, 25 min walk from Murrayfield, short bus ride to the zoo. Staff were so accommodating and friendly
Pillows were really poor, as was the bed as it was two twins zipped together by some sort of topper, after we’d requested a king size bed on booking.
