The staff were all very friendly and helpful, can't fault them. Food at the attached carvery was just ok the night we went. The bathrooms are nicely renovated and large. Fine for a one night stay but I wouldn't recommend for longer.
The rooms are very small, if you have two people and two big bags you will struggle to squeeze in. Once you need the ironing board, it's almost impossible to move. There is no aircon, they provided a small fan but it doesn't do the job on a warm night. We couldn't leave the window open due to a noisy extractor unit just outside.

Great location for the venue we were attending (Murrayfield). The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bonus of having the carvery was the icing on the cake! The rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable.

The staff on site was helpful and friendly. However, I was told they did not receive my request for a 'twin room', as the reservation/message system was managed by their parent company. It seems like there is very ineffective and poor communication within their hotel chain.

Location was brilliant, easy bus routes to and from the city, 25 min walk from Murrayfield, short bus ride to the zoo. Staff were so accommodating and friendly
Pillows were really poor, as was the bed as it was two twins zipped together by some sort of topper, after we’d requested a king size bed on booking.

Very friendly staff and nice breakfast
The shower stall is utterly ridiculous and very tricky to maneuvre when mobility is limited. Hubby had to open the shower door just to be able to wash properly. Something needs to change in there. Also the television was on a stupid angle for viewing. Such a shame

The staff were amazing! The lady we saw at breakfast was above and beyond helpful. The room cleaner was really lovely too.
The size of the the room as great. It was really spacious and clean.
We were just out of the centre for location but with a bus stop straight outside and buses every 5/10mins it was perfect. Lots of places to eat around with lots of shops too.
The only thing I would say was that we had a double bed and a sofa bed in room 104. However the room was so big, another double bed would have been much better. The sofa bed wasn't comfortable at all.
