Stuart the night porter gave a very warm welcome, and breakfast staff were equally great. Lovely room, comfy bed, spacious shower room, tasty breakfast....what's not to like?!
Picked up several crumbs/debris from the carpet... perhaps a new vac's required?

Bus stop right outside the hotel. Easy to head into city centre.
Cleaning was substandard. There was traces of poo in the toilet when we moved in. Beds were too soft.

The staff were fabulous. Helpful, friendly and couldn't do more to make our stay better. I would like to emphasize that ALL the staff were great.
My friend and I stayed in room 106. Very clean and comfortable bed so no problem there. It is a disabled room (I have mobility issues) but would like to mention a couple of things. I was unable to hang my coat/clothes as the hanger was very high. I was unable to lift my arms enough to reach the hangers - my friend is 5'4'' and she found it difficult, a wheelchair user would find it impossible. The other thing I found hard was there was no where to put my clothes other than in my case on the floor - I find bending difficult and painful so a surface where I could leave my case so I could access my clothes would have been very helpful. Because of having to go through an often busy restaurant the access to the room was sometimes tricky - I use sticks to help me walk and found I had to ask people to move chairs/buggies in order to get through. A wheelchair user would have the same problem.

Very clean, comfortable room with a great television. The location was fantastic for access to Edinburgh City Centre via an easy bus journey.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was great too
