Simple accommodation but all very modern and clean. Great TV and relatively quiet for it's location
Staff were not very welcoming... Not sure if it was because reception is basically the bar, but I didn't feel hugely welcomed. Luckily I was too tired to care, but others might find the greeting a little aloof!

The rooms are very secure (You need your room key to enter through main doors) and clean. Bed was comfy and the breakfast was awesome! Staff was very friendly and cheerfully answered any questions we had. Definitely would stay again!

The buffet at the Carvery is loaded with tasty selections that looked so good I had to try a little of everything every time and I was never disappointed. Tender meats and roasted veggies were so good. Lots of shops to walk to in the area and also a bus stop out in front. The staff are friendly and helpful and that lended to the wonderful stay I had there for 3 nights.
There's nothing to not like. What more could ya want; good food, great cocktails, warm room, 15' to the bus stop.

due to a delayed flight we were arriving very late, (friday 7/11 00.45) but at arrival the barkeeper was still there waiting for us, even poored us some drinks, very nice guy.

The hotel was in a convenient location for us and we enjoyed walking the neighborhood.
I'm not a big meat eater, so I looked forward to the vegetables during the meal. Unfortunately, they were very overcooked.

The rooms were cozy and the location perfect for parking the car and taking the bus just in front of the hotel.
The property was great. The breakfast was generous. Maybe some fresh fruit selections? You could ask for an apple or orange, so that's what we did.

We did not have breakfast there but went to the airport after the one night’s stay. The staff was very helpful holding our luggage early for us since we needed to return our rental car well before checkin time. Another positive note was the king sized bed was comfortable.
The main problem we had was that the room was very hot and stuffy. The window could only be opened a very small amount and there was a very small fan in the room, but it did not move much air at all. When I went to the desk to ask if there was any air con, the young gentleman politely said that there was not due to it being a very old building and he offered to bring a fan up. He did bring a larger fan up right away but the room never did really cool off throughout the night which made it not a restful night. The room was overpriced for what was provided also.

Great location. Bus stop right in front of hotel. The Carvery was the cheapest dinner we had on the trip. Breakfast was good. Parking is really super and the back entrance from the parking lot to the rooms is great. The security is superb.. Liked the pub too. People were really nice.
Would definitely come again.
It seemed really expensive but then everything in and around Edinburgh was really expensive.

Overall, we did have a nice stay. We particularly liked the staff as they were very friendly with us. Particularly with me as I have dietary restrictions, I really felt like they went out of their way to accommodate my needs. The location was okay (on the outskirts) but relatively easy to get to the centre.
Unfortunately we did hear a bit of noise from our neighbours above us, that impacted how we slept sometimes. I also felt that it could have been a bit cleaner, particularly in the bathroom (found some strands of hair) and the room floor could be vacuumed more thoroughly.

Close to bus stop, although 25 minute ride to center. Convenient for drinks, food and other local restaurants.
Small room. No AC during very warm weather. Windows wouldn't open more than an inch. Not a great breakfast. Considering the cost not great value.
