Everything was excellent. The location is perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is super stylish. The rooms clean and tidy with everything you need.
The only thing I would say, is the seating at the breakfast, we where a party of 4 and had difficulty finding a place at breakfast, ot because there wasnt room but because 1 or 2 people would sit in the big tables and occupy them, even though there where tables of 2 available. Maybe more organisation at breakfast.

We stayed one night and had a very comfortable stay. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The location was great.
The breakfast was very good. It was a continental breakfast, but there was scrambled egg, haggis, porridge, lots of pastries ,jams, croissants, cheeses,ham, and lots of fruit. Delicious ?

Comfortable beds, location near train station and walking distance to all attractions.
The staff were friendly but seemed like they are understaffed or overworked. There were 2 nights where we didn’t get our room cleaned after exploring all day and staff wanted to clean after a long day so we opted out. And also no complementary water to make tea/coffee in the room.

Size of the room was small with some noise from the street. Attitude of front desk staffs was very disappointing (i.e. made it extremely difficult to pick up luggages even though it was the staff's fauft to not hand out the luggage tags originally)

The location
One of the most uncomfortable beds I stayed in Edinburgh. It felt like a college mattress. On top of that, the showers, good grief did they leak everywhere! Hated that there was nowhere to get ice.

Excellent location, right in the city center, yet pleasantly away from the noise.
The breakfast was also very good.
I am giving this stay a 10/10 overall. While the Wi-Fi was a bit slow and the room size was on the smaller side, we were still happy with our stay.
The room size is fairly typical for Ibis hotels, and considering the central location, it was completely understandable.
The WiFi was slow.
