Just the location, staff was horrible , we checked in on the 17th and the two ladies on the front desk were the worst hotel employees ever. They treated us with disrespect. I never ever recommend anyone to go to this hotel!
The staff was horrible , they treated us bad and even explaining is the hotel rules they could have had a good attitude like the other hotels we stay at! I stay all over the world and never experienced this kind of attitude and racism. We checked in on the 17th June 2025. Please fire those two girls at the reception. Have your staff go through training again. Your hotel will loose a lot of customers . I will make sure to use all my social media handles to inform others about this worst experience

Amazing new hotel. The rooms are super cozy, clean, and well-maintained. The location is exactly where it needs to be — easy to get everywhere, but away from the crowds of tourists. Overall, just great.
The only downside, and the reason it’s a 9 and not a 10, is the breakfast. It’s very, very basic. I’d recommend skipping it and grabbing breakfast somewhere in the city instead.

Location, location, location. :) I only had a brief stay in Ibis Styles Edinburgh, but I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the location and the quality of service. The staff were even kind enough to arrange some breakfast to-go on our last day, as our flight left quite early.
The rooms were a bit small, but I spent my time roaming around the city, so it was a nonissue for me. If I were to stay for a longer period of time, I would probably choose a bigger room.
