biggest plus was location
front of house firstly I get a email asking what time I will arrive so they can hopefully have room ready I replied with 2 o'clock .I arrived at 14-15 to be told my check in wasn't till 15-00 which I totally understand check in times but why ask the question and take no notice of the answer and secondly we came back to our room on Monday evening around 21-30 an there was a tray of partially eaten food outside room next door which was still there at 8am when we went down for breakfast I did make a member off staff aware and it was still there when we went back to our room and again still there when we we're heading out around 9-30 I spoke to a different member of staff to which her reply was well it must of been room service an they arrived late and she was not interested whatsoever.
Thirdly on check out there was absolutely no communication from staff not even how was your stay just a nod and point to where the room keys went as he was on the computer.
I would return to Edinburgh many times again but not to the ibis styles

The location was great
The twin room I was sharing with my mum was tiny.
Thankfully we did not have any suitcases with us and it was only for one night as there was no room to move in the room at all.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful employees, centrally located to walk to all main tourist attractions and the continental breakfast was delicious.
