Breakfast very good, location excellent,we did the red bus tour very good,and food in hotel very good.
Room very small for a double .....bed not very comfortable.

Great location, very quiet and comfortable room, friendly staff and nice breakfast.
Hot breakfast menu would be great but there was warm haggis and scrambled egg available.

Only one lift in operation which was constantly in use by Housekeepers/service staff which caused long details for customers, very frustrating

Wonderful
An excellent location with a great view of St Andrew’s square. Very clean, lovely bathroom, great facilities, comfortable beds.
Nothing, a little fridge would have been a bonus to chill drinks but that is just an additional.

Very Good
The food was good and presented quickly and no fuss, service in the bar and at reception was good. We will use the hotel again when in the area. The room was clean and tidy on arrival.The bed was comfortable.and the shower was good.
The room was a little cramped as when not using the bed there was only room for one person to sit. One chair as not room for two. No room to open a case out without putting it on the bed. One of the lifts was out of order and the staff were using the other lift to do the room servicing so it took absolutely ages to get the lift and when it arrived it was full. The stairs were not signed well and we had to ask where they were from the reception desk. Otherwise it was ok.

Pillows were way to hard, and while we were there it poured hard and the room had no way of drying anything (radiators) or for drying used towels.
