Love the location. Very near to Waverley Station and many attractions. Very clean and updated. Ours was a basic twin room which was a bit tight in space (standard really for a basic room) but the vibe of the place is very modern and clean.

Great location,few mins walk to Scott Monument. Very informal approach with quirky design and decor features. Our double room had stunning views of Calton Hill and was compact but very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, great selection. All staff work very hard to make it all work smoothly.
Minor gripe for some could be the lack of privacy if using the shower washroom as it is a swing glass door and very close to the bed. No problem for us as long term couple

Location excellent, close to the Waverly bus stop.
Excellent eating and drinking options close by.
Breakfast was very good, as good as it could possibly be without a 'full English' option.
Room was well equipped.
Staff welcoming and efficient.
Bathroom shower fan kept coming on during the night and disturbing our sleep.
No way to switch it of.

Location,
Room was tiny, not practical for two people, couldn’t open suitcases and use the Bed. To much emphasis on STYLE and not so much on functionality, the lighting was overwhelming in the room and poorly arranged in the bathroom as there was no light to shave at the sink or for my wife to do makeup. Maybe I screwed myself for selecting the lowest cost available room but at $345 a night I was expecting a better experience.

The breakfast and drinks were good. The room and the view were nice also. Staff were helpful and menu looked good.
No room service but it says online they do offer this service, difficult to use the elevator when carrying a bottle of wine and two wine glasses… staff just left me to try my best! Room was missing the tv remote and the amenities card so no idea when breakfast was served etch . WiFi also wasn’t working, asked us to sign up to gain access but webpage was down. Had to use data and hot spot the tv after eventually tracking down the remote control with a member of staff. Bedding also had a hole in it which was only noticed when going to sleep.

Excellent location. We stayed for a week and we pretty much walked everywhere. Some of the staff were great - really attentive and made the stay a great experience. Especially a lady at the restaurant downstairs - Sajna (I might be mispronouncing this) was really helpful throughout the stay.
The rooms are tiny. And I mean really small. It’s probably suited for one person to stay. But as a couple - we struggled. We even hit our foot moving around the bed multiple times. The pictures are a bit misleading in showing the room size.

First room offered smelled awful but were quickly offered an acceptable alternative. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bar seemed good and the entrance area had a bit of character. Reasonably close to the main station and the city centre was an easy walk.
Breakfast choices and quality was poor. Seemed to be complimentary for all who stayed but the quality and variety of what was available was poor fruit juices? ( yuk) cooked meal choices (limited) no decent brown/wholemeal bread. continental breakfast choices (very limited) Room sizes were pokey with everything crammed in ( we didn't choose the cheapest rooms either!)
