Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is fantastic and the breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed also the hotel bar in the evening.

Welcoming staff. Room clean and comfortable. Great selection of food at breakfast. Separate room to iron clothes if needed. Ideal location.
Room was bit small, but could have upgraded at a cost, but was ok for 1 night.

A fantastic place to stay for exploring Edinburgh, definitely returning to this Ibis. Staff, food, rooms....everything was perfect.

Close to the train station and a short walk to castle . On a bus route . Surrounded by bars and cafe restaurants. But a good place to drink and eat itself .
Great breakfast that was included . Cost of the stay was really good compared to other hotels .

Great location in the city centre, just a 3-minute walk to the Old Town. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. An open bar was available in the evening, allowing guests to enjoy a drink at any time.
We were slightly disappointed with the room facilities – despite the large TV, it did not allow streaming of our own services or YouTube, which would have been nice for the evening. Another drawback was the bathroom, or rather the door, which was somewhat transparent and could not be properly closed. Otherwise, the bathroom was a bit small but had everything we needed. Overall, the accommodation is more suitable for couples than for a friends’ getaway.
