Location ideal for shopping and train station.
Staff were pleasant. Excellent shower with overhead a bonus, liked room looking onto St Andrew's Square, comfortable bed. A good buzz round hotel helped as supporters gathered for Calcutta Cup match.
Room was rather small. Although shower was excellent with hot water the flow from taps was initially cold and never got better than tepid. Reported same to reception. Breakfast okay however only had egg as hot dish, no bacon or sausage. Limited space for food to be laid out a possible reason.

Extremely welcoming reception staff. All staff very friendly. Great room, nicely presented. Great location for central Edinburgh.
Breakfast very good but busy even at 9 such that there was no ham or smoked salmon left.

Fantastic room and location with wrap around balcony
Slight niggle would be the heating/air con unit. A electric radiator in the room would be much better for winter months.

.Location is perfect as regards getting to and from the airport. Tram stop 2 minutes from the from the front door
It was just a little weird wasn't a tv in the bar just to watch a match or something. Look its only something small.
