Lovely room, gorgeous bathroom, very clean, staff always friendly and helpful, so much choice for breakfast, had two evening meals there - both good, perfect location to get to sites, shops and eateries but just away enough from busyness. A nice park directly opposite. Loved it !!

All the staff I had dealings with were exceptional. The location is excellent. Very handy if traveling via Waverley Station.
The room was small but I knew this when I booked. Without a major, and hugely expensive, redesign of the interior of the building, I don't think the company can do anything about it.

The Ibis Styles is in a very central location, a short walk from Waverley station and Princes Street, and the tram stop is across St Andrew Square from where we took the tram to Ocean Terminal to take a tour on the Royal Yacht Britannia.. The hotel style is very modern, very clean, very comfortable and with very helpful staff. Comfortable beds, air con, tea and coffee making, and a fabulous shower room. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. We would definitely stay at the Ibis Styles St Andrew Square again if returning to Edinburgh.

All staff were excellent. The young male receptionist who checked me in couldn't have been more helpful. Location is excellent but I also suspect the location is why the front door gets locked so early. I'm very fussy about comfortable pillows. These were excellent!
It was a small room which I knew about before booking. Fine for a single night but, for a longer stay, it might be a bit cramped.

The proximity to the Royal Mile festivities was awesome...a quick scenic walk! The included breakfast was a real plus. The room was quiet,clean, and comfortable.
