Breakfast was very good.
The location was good.
The room was very small with very limited storage and overpriced for such a small room.
I got the feeling that the TV was bigger than the room, certainly too large for a room of that size.
There were no chairs in the room. Probably because there wasn’t space for them.

Perfect location just across the square for tram direct to airport. Short walk to all the amazing places in Edinburgh. Princess st, George St , Grassmarket, Castle . Loads of restaurants, pubs,supermarkets nearby . Quirky decor staff were fantastic
No fridge in room . Long time since I’ve paid the amount I paid & no fridge . Room was lovely but was more about style than functionality. Trough sink tap barely over edge of sink. No room at side of bed on cabinets for anything. Nowhere in bathroom apart from top of sink ( where it got wet to put my wash bag) . Safe on the floor - grovelling around on my knees to use it . No plug near kettle had to move it to where coffee machine was . Not a big deal but I’m guessing whoever designed the rooms has never stayed in the rooms . But my room had fabulous wrap around balcony /terrace with fabulous views. Was also big. Would I return - yes despite what I’ve said I liked it & location perfect

This was a great surprise. Great location. 2blocks from Princes street and Scott Monument. Loved the decore and the bar had great prices on drinks. Small rooms but comfy enuff. Larger bathrooms than other Ibis.

The property is extremely well located, close to both tram and bus stops from the airport. Attractions and shopping are within walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, if rather tight on space. Breakfast was fair. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and professional. We found this property to be expensive, but probably not by Edinburgh standards. Staff and location were the best features.

The hotel is close to Waverley Station, Princes St, the National Records of Scotland and shops. It is smart, modern and has no unnecessary frills. Rooms are small, cosy, but have everything I needed. The breakfast buffet is superb, but can get very busy. The bathroom was superb with a very functional wash basin.
Busy breakfast times, which alternate between no cutlery/plates/glasses and too efficient removal of my breakfast things when I got up for coffee - in other words fluctuating staffing. Just a little quibble because really breakfast was great.

Great location with easy access to main train & bus stations. It is also an easy walk to the Royal Mile, as long as you don’t have an issue with stairs. Staff are friendly & helpful. Good value for a convenient location. It is an easy, safe & cheerful place to base yourself or convenient transit hotel.
Bathroom door not well sealed. Breakfast ok though coffee almost undrinkable
