Great location in a quieter corner, but easy walk to all the popular tourist spots. We loved the balcony room, awesome views, spacious, fantastic shower. Good breakfast and bar, you can order pizza late if hungry.

Wonderful
We stayed at Idris St Andrews and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, right on St Andrews Square, putting us within easy walking distance of everything. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room itself was very cute and tastefully appointed, and we were lucky enough to have a balcony with a lovely view over the city. Highly recommend.

Location excellent, reception decor attractive, bathroom lovely , staff friendly and helpful
No fridges in the rooms
Rooms vert tight
Kettle stored in wardrobe , no plug nearby
Lack of hooks in bathroom
Uncomfortable pillows
The housekeepers were very noisy and didnt hoover the floors effectively they also seemed very pressured to complete their workload.
The dishes in the breakfast area were put out for use wet.
We stayed for eight nights so noticed the above if you were there for just a couple of nights these things probably wouldnt have bothered you

I stayed at Ibis this July and honestly had a very relaxing trip. The rooms are cozy but not too small. Spacious bathroom. The staff is very polite and we even got a late check out as my wife was pregnant. Shout out to Usman!! He's amazing.
The rooms aren't exactly sound proof so you could here people moving around in the lobby.
Breakfast could be better as the eggs were bland and there weren't enough options.
