The location could not have been any better. Right in the middle of everything, super close walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The bed was pretty comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good and had a variety of options. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Would definitely stay again.
The only minor complaints we had (super minor): low water pressure in shower, bedroom was a tiny bit cramped. This did not diminish any enjoyment of our stay.

The location is excellent, right on the Royal Mile and within walking distance of most of the main attractions in Edinburgh. It’s very convenient for exploring the Old Town without needing transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and although not very large, it had everything needed for a short stay. Overall, it felt practical and well organized.
The room was a bit on the small side, especially if you are travelling with more than one suitcase. Some areas of the room and bathroom felt slightly dated, and sound insulation could be better — you could occasionally hear noise from the corridor or nearby rooms. Nothing that ruined the stay, but noticeable.

Excellent location!
Right in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic city centre, which makes it very convenient for exploring the main attractions.
Positive points: The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also very convenient to be able to leave our luggage both at check-in and after check-out.
Negative point: I stayed in room 120, and unfortunately the bathroom door would not lock, which can make things a bit awkward in terms of privacy.

The staff were so helpful. Location, breakfast and value for money was excellent. Room was clean, and I really liked the option to not have a daily room clean for a £5 voucher to spend in the bar.
The only reason I gave a 9 for comfort instead of 10, is the bed - too soft for me personally.
