Right in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic city centre, which makes it very convenient for exploring the main attractions.
Positive points: The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also very convenient to be able to leave our luggage both at check-in and after check-out.
Negative point: I stayed in room 120, and unfortunately the bathroom door would not lock, which can make things a bit awkward in terms of privacy.

The staff were so helpful. Location, breakfast and value for money was excellent. Room was clean, and I really liked the option to not have a daily room clean for a £5 voucher to spend in the bar.
The only reason I gave a 9 for comfort instead of 10, is the bed - too soft for me personally.

Location was excellent , staff at front desk were always friendly and helpful.
If you are staying for one night it’s a perfect hotel, but the room we stayed in was very small , it’s a budget hotel that is overpriced for what you get. Breakfast again was overpriced, there were good options available but the quality of the hot items was poor.

Very clean. Lovely comfortable bed. Great choice for breakfast. Very friendly staff. Excellent location.
Room to the front was a little bit noisy at night time from people outside but otherwise everything was great.

Situated in the ideal place. The hotel was very clean , we thought that few things that you couldn’t go to the rooms without your key to use the lift was very good ideal and felt very safe that no one could just go into where the rooms were of the streets and wasn’t exactly staying in the hotel , and by your own choice of not having your room not clean to get £5 voucher

Excellent location. Clean. Staff are really helpful, welcoming and friendly. Depending on the room rate you're paying, it can be excellent value as it's a basic hotel but gives you what you need.
