Disappointing
We felt Hunter location in better condition more up to date small room tho’. Breakfast was good.
We were told just prior to our arrival we were moved from Hunter Square location down the street for one night. Hunter square nicer room and in better condition overall. The square was the gathering space for violent drunk drugged homeless, loud, fighting obnoxious language which went on through the night. Parked themselves there 24/7. Surprised hotel hasn’t dealt with this through city council. Bad for tourism. The hotel itself much better than first. Breakfast was good and staff nice. No compensation re the move financial or otherwise.
Disappointed by the location and having to move locations which disrupted one of our days.

Our experience was a great one. From the time we checked in till we left, the staff and facilities were of the highest standard. Breakfast was a great way to start the day. Lots of choice and attentive staff.

Great location, right on the Royal Mile and close to restaurants and coffee shops. Surprisingly quiet at night.
The bathroom door didn't fit the jamb and didn't lock. The toilet space was incredibly cramped.

Perfect location to explore Edinburgh, comfy mattresses
Very basic breakfast, coffee machines very dusty, no toilets downstairs, we normally stay in Ibis Styles at St.Andrews Square which was fully booked and this one is not even close to the expected standard,

It’s in the perfect location for wandering the Royal Mile.
The room was beyond tiny but we were there because of the location. What was harder to over look was the tremendously awful smell in the hallway. It didn’t waft into our room but was there every time we opened the door to our room. It was not the best experience.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend to friends.
There was some drilling going on in the building which was quite loud at times.

Close to edenbrugh royal college
One of the staff, a young man was not nice. I asked him to print a paper for my exam and i didn't like his reaction
There is no room services and no phone in the room beside i will evaluate the bed matrix as medium quality

Centrally located. Staff was friendly and helpful. The night staff deserves a kudos for constantly fending off (very politely) non-guests who wanted to enter the building in the middle of the night after a night of partying
