Great location - across the road from Waverley Station.
Lovely decor and very comfortable.
Breakfast staff not very pleasant. The food was great but the service not as good.

Had the best couple of days in Edinburgh staying at this wonderful hotel. Staff were friendly, room was fab, lovely ensuite bathroom, comfy bed and fabulous location.
Quite expensive, a room for two nights for two people cost the equivalent to what we would spend on a cottage for a week for a family of 4. Having said that, the price did seem comparable to other hotels in the area.

The view from the window was bad, but it’s good location for leisure and staff was friendly

The staff were amazing. Really everyone had a smile.The young woman in the bar was still fuller energy at 11pm and knew her whiskey although she wasn't Scottish.Exceptional staff all around and a really nice hotel. Loved the decorations

Very central location and in a great place to explore the city. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful.
The lighting in the bedroom could be better, the area around the wardrobe was very dark,
The floor identifying engraving in the lift is quite difficult to see- needs to be highlighted
