nice little boutique hotel right on Princes Street downtown and central. rooms are small but still exude luxe. It's really above my pay grade, so i stay there on arrival in EDI and on departure.
its a little pricey for the room size.

The view from the room was beautiful. The rooms were cleaned and restocked every day. The staff were friendly and polite. It was in a brilliant location and it was a very enjoyable stay.

Very good breakfst menu selction. Staff were very attentive and made sure that you were looked after. Very pleasant.
Our bedroom faced the rear alleyway. Their was late night music and early morning construction that affected our sleep. It's an old hotel with single pane windows. Not vey sound proof.

Location excellent. Nice hotel. Would use again.
Fine views from the room across Princes Street to the Old Town.
Spent time identifying the many portraits of notable people connected to Edinburgh.
Helpful staff.
Comfortable well equipped attractive room.
Minor issues. Shower screen too small and floor of bathroom got wet. Trendy looking sink didn't actually work well.
