I had an excellent stay at Hotel Indigo Edinburgh.
The staff were exceptional—highly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming throughout. Their service was attentive without being intrusive, and they consistently demonstrated a strong understanding of hospitality at a high level.
The overall ambiance of the hotel is very appealing. The interiors, décor, and general atmosphere are stylish, classy, and well thought out, creating a comfortable and refined environment.
Overall, a very enjoyable and high-quality stay, with only minor room for improvement in the culinary experience.
The food, while technically well-prepared, was the only aspect that fell slightly short. There was nothing inherently wrong with the quality; however, the dishes felt somewhat overworked. The compositions were a bit heavy, which detracted from the balance of flavours and resulted in a loss of texture and clarity.

Location and staff were good.
Room offered was not like on photo. Very small and claustrophobic .
Upgraded room but at a cost of £100 for one night leading to 399 cost.
TV didn't work at first and there was a broken switch in bathroom. Then in upgraded room noise was bad from outside as there were no internal glazing like on other floors. Not great value.

Only stayed for one night, but was very happy with the room and the cleanliness. I stayed on the top floor but, which does not have a lift and my room only had a skylight window. This was not a problem for me, but if this matters to you, I would recommend you make sure to book a room that have this available.

The bar and food service
The heating in the bedroom wasn t working properly also the noise from the door in the hall woke me at 4 am whistling wind through the gap also the window in the room was broke so it wasn't t sealed right.

I recently visited for my partners birthday and we received a generous plate of chocolates to celebrate which was so thoughtful! The staff were amazing especially a young lady who checked us in. (I didn’t catch her name). The rooms were very clean and the location was perfect for our stay.
The only inconvenience we occurred was during the night late on there was water coming through our ceiling from the room above. After paying for an upgraded room for my partners birthday to have to quickly pack up and move to a downgraded room during the night was rather unexpected.
