The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good
There was a constant tapping in the room which was annoying the room was on the small size and felt a bit cramped. And the view was no existent.

Pillows were flat, would be nice to have known about dog bed being provided as we brought our own (maybe we were told but don't think so), toilet seat was wobbly, TV remote worked when it wanted to, was slightly annoyed I was told I hadn't mentioned we were bringing a dog when I had mentioned it, he did then realise we had a dog friendly room and we'd been given bed and treats, a little apology would've sufficed is all

The room was clean and of high quality, as expected. Most of the staff members were friendly and helpful.
Although the hotel is in central Edinburgh, the location can be a little awkward for taxi/Uber pick-ups, and you’ll have a short uphill walk. Also, the lift was not fully functional during my stay.

Excellent location. Excellent facilities in the Hotel. The best shower we’ve experienced in a hotel room. Breakfast was good - an excellent selection.
It was a great stay ! The staff were friendly but could have been a bit more personable at times. For example, wishing us good morning when checking in for breakfast. Breakfast service all felt a bit ‘wooden’.
