I loved the location, close to restaurants and a convenience store. I love the umbrella rental as I thought I’d have to purchase an umbrella for the few days. The staff and the rooms were lovely.
I wasn’t able to get any beans for bfast as I ordered the pancakes with bacon so I couldn’t choose anything else. Very limiting.

It’s at a nice location, near to many sights. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very polite and helpful.
The shower had mold around the edges and generally it seemed like it wasn’t that clean. The rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear everything and it’s very annoying. We really expected something far better at this price.

It was near another the centre. When I left a staff member carried my suitcase to the car picking me up.
When I arrived no one offered to either take me to my room or carry my suitcase to it.

Great location lovely breakfast. Friendly staff. Very helpful with booking taxis.
Taxis can not pick you up outside the hotel have to walk to the corner this due to tram cars.

Breakfasts were great. Ample buffet plus a variety of cooked options. The hotel location is great, with an Edinburgh Tram stop right outside. This made transportation to and from the airport very easy. Walking distance from all of the sights, many restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and also many with a 15 minute walk. This particular Hotel Indigo location is also much quieter (less automobile traffic and foot traffic) than the sister location on Prince's Street.
The room could use some sprucing up. A few electrical items were not working- heated towel bar, lighted mirror, and some electrical outlets. The fridge was also not cold enough to safely store food. The staff did try to fix these issues, but only the lighted mirror was able to be fixed. We weren't overly bothered by these things, but thought the staff should know.

Location is good, away from the hustle and bustle. Room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is fantastic. Love the modern with a touch of victorian decor breakfast area. Staff is friendly, helpful and attentive.

Good location, clean and comfortable room. Good room amenities including very nice lavender lotion.
We had a basement room which could be loud with footsteps at times but it wasn’t too disruptive.

Location and proximity to train station and St James centre, playhouse theatre.
Room 403 is terrible. I would want to make sure that I don’t get it in future - it is too small, i.e. narrow for 2 people and a double bed.

Very confortable room, big enough, clean, silent for sleeping, nice shower, with some free goodies in the fridge. Staff super nice and helpful (they helped me to book an excursion), very good locations with near restaurants, pub in the corner, supermarket and shopping nearby.
It's not cheap but yet Edinburgh is not cheap for accomodation in general, so it's worth it because of the quality of the facilities and staff.
