Location is good. Staff were helpful. Food was very nice. Hotel was clean.
Accessibility for people with limited mobility was not ideal. Long corridors and no lift to our room. Bar was upstairs but often no one there, couldn’t work out how to get drinks served outside or in lounge, perhaps just our timing as others had drinks etc our bed in the junior suite was really uncomfortable, asked them to change mattress but didn’t notice any improvement. The bed in the suite was comfortable.

Charming. Intimate. Good location, just outside old town and 10 minute walk to royal mile and castle. Great restaurant. Wonderful staff - especially Andrea and Chelsea at front desk were very helpful. Housekeeping also very accommodating.

Excellent bicycle storage in a small garage; we had a junior suite on the top floor so tub was great (although hot water ran out if we didn’t watch it), very good breakfast and the bistro dinner we had was very good. Good service all round. Really like the location across from the Univ. of Edinburgh which was a bit out of the fray of touristy Edinburgh.
Our suite was at the top of the building and the lift only goes part way- when we arrived the manager took our gear up (very nice) but we had to lug it down on checking out.

Breakfast good, located excellent
We felt the extra charges ie service charges were not made clear. Even passing a whisky from bar to our table incurred a service charge. We were presented with an a4 page of charges, service charges. Plus an extra item on our bill for somebody else's breakfast item. We emailed you and to date you've not had the decency to reply Even.
