The hotel is in the old part of the city, so fantastic for exploring the sights by foot! The room was clean and had everything in it for a longer stay!
Travelling by car, the parking was not easy to find. A better explanation for the parking would have been great!

There nothing bad to say. Room was clean. Having washer/dryer was a plus. Location was great. I would recommend it to family and friends.

Good location
In some disrepair. The bathroom had a lot of mildew, the remote control had no batteries, the electric kettle had a lot of rust in it, and the kitchen window latch was broken. It just didn’t look well-maintained. The bed was incredibly hard.

Very nice apartment. 10 minutes walk from princess street. Had a lot of the basics for cooking (pot, pan, oven, utilities, salt, peppers) and for clothes washing (washing machine, dryers, laundry detergent). The lady at the receptionist very nice and helpful
The air conditioner not working and windows only open half way so it was hot and stiff even when outside was cold (start of October). Washing machine and Dryer make a lot of noise so don't do it at night. Kind experience but worth it for the comfort of a kitchen and washing clothes

Location was within easy walking distance from the centre of York. The room was small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fabulous. We had the full English breakfast (eggs, sausage, bacon, black pudding, fried bread) on one morning and eggs benedict on the other morning. The hotel also had a nice pub with a good selection of beers and ciders. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom leaked a bit from the faucet, and the lack of a fully lined shower meant every shower resulted in a puddle of water onto the floor.

we enjoy the spaciousness of the apartment and the location sent was centrally located
I believe it was overpriced, considering it was more of a motel than an actual hotel. The sheets and comforter were clearly very old and made me itch… This was also the noisiest room I’ve ever slept in ( air conditioner, air vent in the bathroom that stayed on, the dryer which took multiple cycles to actually dry the clothing …I have stayed in plenty of old hotels that were a little noisier, but this building was not old-it simply seems as if the owners/staff could care less-juat no effort). I had just arrived to the hotel and within 10 minutes. I received a noise complaint because my phone was too loud. (keep in mind I was watching a video of a person talking-no loud music and it was 5:30 in the afternoon)…. I would expect a hotel staff to be able to manage complaints appropriately-I should be able to make appropriate level of noise in my room during normal waking hours… I honestly think the walls were so cheap and thin that everything could be heard. overall it’s a “fine” place to stay. I just think they should advertise that they more of a motel than a hotel and lower their prices-I have currently stayed in London with the same price and it was a far different experience

Fantastic location! The small kitchen had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. The place was clean. It was surprisingly quiet. Good security.
The small couch was in very poor condition. The walls were in desperate need of painting. TV channels are poor.
