This was my 3rd trip to Edinburgh, had chosen this hotel on recommendation. However had bad experience. Wifi did not work most of the time in room. Room was on ground floor which was like basement level as compared to road, access card stopped working 1 hr before hotel designated check out time, room was not clean, wall paper covered in dust, bed looked like someone had used it before. AC was not heating to the level set.

I stayed at this hotel for four days, and I was surprised to find that the breakfast was exactly the same every single day. Some variety would have made the experience much better.
The staff were friendly and polite, although we didn’t need to ask for any assistance during our stay.
The cleanliness of the room was acceptable overall, but I did find a winter glove left on the floor from a previous guest, which shouldn’t happen. The bathroom was generally clean as well, but the shower drain was clogged, which made using it inconvenient.
One major advantage of this hotel is its location — the walking distance to the city center and main attractions is a huge plus.
Overall, the stay was fine, but there are definitely areas that could be improved to make the experience more comfortable.
There was nothing particularly bad — overall the stay was fine. The few issues I mentioned above were the only downsides.

15 minutes from coach station easily accessible to bus routes n town centre. Friendly staff and generally good facilities. They provided kettle and tea items in the room, iron, blow dryer and you could ask for toiletries at front desk if you required it, which I thought was excellent for a budget hotel. I loved that we arrived early and the hotel accommodated us, we had the option of storing our bags until check in but they found us a room and we also got to get breakfast which I think was excellent.
The bathroom could have use a deep clean, but it was still able to use it. I have learnt not to take my cleaning standards to hotel facilities.

The staff at the desk were very welcoming, helpful and kind. Our room was well sized and in a good location, we also appreciated the help with parking. Will definitely be staying here again when we come back.

Very nice and enthusiastic staff.
Cleanliness of the room wasn’t what i expected. The room was tidy but looked more like the clean up crew went past everything with one towel and that’s it. Bought our own bleach to clean otherwise it was impossible.

Good location, near old town and near to train station. Good breakfast.
I asked for a calm room, they gave us a connecting room with a kid in it. we could barely sleep due to baby crying all night and waking up super early. it was terrible experience.

Central location. Great breakfast. Clean.
First night on ground floor where window looked out to people feet. Had to keep curtains drawn. Also Double room dimensions on first floor smaller than shown on booking site.
2nd and third night much better when moved to fourth floor.

Everything is great, good value. The staff is smiley and helpful. They informed us about hotel, edinburgh and touristic activities around. Breakfast is okey. They have a locker room to leave the luggages. Room is really clean and large. If i go to Edinburgh again, i will definitely choose to stay. :)
