The room was lovely, and I especially appreciated the spacious and comfortable bathroom with a great shower. The hotel itself was peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax. Breakfast was a highlight—there was a generous buffet that even included a pancake machine (a fun first for me!) and a separate gluten-free bread station, which was a thoughtful touch. The internet worked well, and the location was very convenient—close to both the main attractions and the train station.
I only stayed for one night. Everything went smoothly, so there wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Liked the hotel and it was comfortable
Booking.com advertised that it was on the royal mile, it isn't. They also advertised outside drinking area, it hasn't. Not the hotels fault

The location. The front desk staff. Comfortable bed.
The room has very poor lighting.
There is NO drawer or wardrobe.
The lift is erratic n has no logic to its stops, takes for ever to come. We only used the staircase!!
The breakfast spread is adequate but food quality has much to improve.
At over £450 per night, definitely not value fr the amount paid.
We will not be staying here next time.

Breakfast was cold and not a nice place to eat. I booked a twin room and got a small double but it had a settee and they converted it to another bed not value for the money. They gave us a drink for the inconvenients (bottle of pop).
It was clean and in the centre of Edinburgh.

The breakfast was well cooked, would have liked more fruit options but the choice is okay.
Went for the Fringe and it was a great location for that yet in a quiet area.
The staff are friendly and helpful.

The location is great just under south bridge, but families with strollers or mobility issues need to understand that a sleep slog uphill is needed to reach the upper city.
Location as above. The rooms are small - the hotel Informs u in advance but you need to experience quite how small. The room cleaning leaves to be desired especially carpet. The breakfast is good on the hot items but lacks basic items eg cold cuts.

Nice, clean room. Amazing location
The extensible sofa wasn’t comfortable at all.
Small room with no proper storage space for luggage or clothes.
