Location was great, near downtown Edinburgh and all the attractions.
Elevator did not work, beds were horrible, room is very small for the price, had to call for more towels because they gave us enough for one person, too expensive for an old hotel.

The convenience. It’s close to literally everything and you can just walk everywhere.
It would be nice if they could fix their curtains. It was falling off because some pins was missing and it’s hard to close it all the way and you can still look through the gaps from outside.

It was located very near to Waverley station and most touristy streets like Victoria street, Royal mile etc.
Breakfast was average, not too many options for the price I paid. Room was not very comfortable, quite basic and no car parking facility by the hotel.
Bathroom (shower area) was clogged and had to wait 30-40 mins for someone to show up to fix it.

The counter personnel where excellent and very personable.
Parking would have been very helpful, even if it was just to load and unload luggage. A small refrigerator also would have been very beneficial. The staff helped me as much as they could.

Close to city - staff very nice - good breakfast - quiet location.
Asked for 2 single beds but got a double room with a bed settee which wasn’t set up on arrival. Bed settee uncomfortable.
