Staff were fantastic, so friendly and happy to help
The room was quite cold despite the heater and air con being on all night. There were marks on the towels. For the price I expected something a little more, the wasn't even as nice as a Premier Inn.

A great quiet location within easy reach of all attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful.
There was always a log jam at the toaster at breakfast and an absence of marmalade!

Great location.
I did not like the smoke alarm light just above my head flashing all night which kept me awake. And the weird idea of having a double door in the room through which you could enter the room next door. I guess that would be usefull if 2 families have room next to each other. But otherwise it is terrible idea as you can literally hear everything that is going on in the room next to you. Like a couple talking till midnight which again kept us awake. Otherwise the hotel was pleasant to stay in.

Very good breakfast and spacious rooms, the bed was very comfortable as well. The location was really convinient, just off the Royal Mile.
The windows are not soundproof and due to the location it can be a bit loud overnight.
