15 minutes from coach station easily accessible to bus routes n town centre. Friendly staff and generally good facilities. They provided kettle and tea items in the room, iron, blow dryer and you could ask for toiletries at front desk if you required it, which I thought was excellent for a budget hotel. I loved that we arrived early and the hotel accommodated us, we had the option of storing our bags until check in but they found us a room and we also got to get breakfast which I think was excellent.
The bathroom could have use a deep clean, but it was still able to use it. I have learnt not to take my cleaning standards to hotel facilities.

Easy check in. Plenty of staff on hand. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet bar area. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Warm room without being too hot. I would use again for a short stay.
Room was quite dark as there is no overhead light and not enough lamps. We left the shower room light on to brighten the room but that only covered one section of the room.

Location is excellent.
GLUTEN FREE FOOD AT BREAKFAST No labels on food at serving point. Notice about GF food is outside serving area, and not immediately noticeable. I made an error and chose gluten containing food. Staff pointed out my error (I had requested GF bread on check in for breakfast, but notice about GF not shown to me) but not before I'd eaten some.

On one occasion there was a family eating a takeaway in the reception/bar area that filled the area with a smell. We were going to have a drink in the bar area but due to this decided not to.
