The hotel is very central, close to the train station. The staff are very good and helpful. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was acceptable.
The rooms are small, so you might have difficulty if you have a young child. They are more than sufficient if you are traveling as a couple or alone.

Good location and kind staff.
House keeping service is not good enough. They only change the towels. During 5 days stay, we called 2 times house keeping. 1st time they change the sheets and towels, not cleaning. 2nd time only towels have been changed.

David who checked us in was very welcoming
This was my 3rd trip to Edinburgh, had chosen this hotel on recommendation. However had bad experience. Wifi did not work most of the time in room. Room was on ground floor which was like basement level as compared to road, access card stopped working 1 hr before hotel designated check out time, room was not clean, wall paper covered in dust, bed looked like someone had used it before. AC was not heating to the level set.
