1. Good breakfast.
2. You were allowed to stay with a pet for an additional fee 30 GBP per stay
1. Expensive parking.
2. We were not warned that the boiler was not working. My wife dyed her roots and unfortunately had to rinse her hair in ice cold water. After that, when I complained at the reception, they moved us to another room.
3. The receptionist didn't want to help (dark straight hair and "pumped" lips), it felt like this was her hotel and she was paying us a refund from her salary... which she offered after 5 min argument.
4. In the second room, the generator could be heard through the window.

Great size room , they even had a full length mirror with power socket and hairdryer...let me tell you that is almost impossible to find, even in 5 Star hotels..I think my partner will not go anywhere else now!

David at the front desk checked us in fast (we arrived a lot later than we wanted to). He was helpful, kind and all with a smile.
We were not there long enough to find something we didn’t like. However, my 13 year old son was disappointed that your facility did not have the pancake machine during breakfast like the other Holiday Inn Express that we stayed in near the Royal Mile.

It is close to the airport
The rooms are not sound proofed, which normally airport hotels have ! The rooms w low odd numbers (1,3,5 etc) all face the runway and the area where the shuttle bus stops and starts. Given that it is a single -storey building, that means the bus is right outside the window and the planes not very far away.

Location was excellent. The rooms were clean and inviting g and the beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful and the morning shuttle was prompt and super easy to navigate. I will definitely use this hotel again.
For the price, location, and ease of travel to Edinburgh airport at 5am, there was nothing negative about this hotel.
