The receptionist, Gillian, on our arrival was very welcoming and friendly. It set a good tone for our stay in the hotel.
It would have helped if it was made more clear that food was ordered at the bar in the evening. We sat a long time waiting for someone to take an order before realising we needed to order at the bar.

The location to the airport
The restaurant at the hotel forgot one of our meals, and did not seem too concerned about it. We had to ask them a couple of times.

Staff here are just fantastic, cannot say enough good things about them. They will definitely do everything they can to make your stay more comfortable. Also the bathroom and showers are great. The heaters keeping the towels warm are really helpful, and even the basic bathroom supplies are quite nice. Wifi was good, as long as you didn't mind it dropping out for 1-2 mins every 20 mins. If you do decide to ignore the :-( part of the review below (especially if you don't have a car) call ahead to find out how to get there.
Holiday Inn have not updated their website's travel directions since last September. The website still says to go bus H - DO NOT GO THERE. You'll get redirected to another numerical stand, which incidentally no-one could tell me where that was. I ended up walking 30 mins with a heavy bag, and you have to be careful to not end up on a road with no footpath (if using Google maps, take the longer route). Would not have liked to do that walk in the dark. The room itself is very basic, not remotely close to value for money. My room - once the wall heater was on - was absolutely freezing and wasn't an acceptable temp until the morning I was leaving. Staff gave me extra blankets - again, they're brilliant. (There is a plug-in fan provided, so I'm guessing there might be similar problems in hot weather) Was so grateful the staff tried to tuck me away somewhere quiet, there is ZERO reasonable sound dampening between rooms. The person in the room above me seemed to be suffering from uncomfortable gas, and I heard all of it. I rarely take the time to leave reviews and am not hard to please, but I recommend finding somewhere further along on the tram line and getting more for less cost.

The staff were friendly, the room was big and very clean, smelled amazing, shower was excellent, products were good quality
The room was warm a bit. The breakfast was tasty, though there weren't many options. The walls weren't soundproof, so you could hear people moving around.
