Good hotel that provides everything you need for staying near the airport. Good breakfast, clean room, very good service
It is quite far from the airport. Not really a convenient walking distance. So a shuttle bus should be used.

Beautiful clean and comfortable, with some lovely views.
The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and more than you can eat.

Location was great, as were the shuttle service to and from the Edinburgh airport. The bed, bedding, and bathroom towels were nice.
The breakfast was a nice presentation. Staff were very good in all regards.
The lobby/check in area acoustics need improvement. Language and accents are difficult enough for staff and guests without all the sounds bouncing around. It was very noticeable and distracting. We and two other couples found the signs on floor one guiding to room numbers lacking. Off the lift the sign was fine, but walking to the 13x rooms, takes one to the end of a hall and a left turn that does lead to the stairwelll, but should have a sign stating rooms 13x and a pointer. The outside window for room 137 needs some TLC, paint, latches, wood, all showing signs of deterioration.

The location was close to the airport. The shuttle (2.5 pounds) was great.
Was told breakfast was at 4 ( or maybe 4:30). Arrived shortly after 6 am to find out that the hot food wasn’t available until 6:30 am)

The staff were very friendly and helpful even under pressure. The food provided was good.Impressed by the soundproofing. Trolleys provided for transporting luggage to and from car was very useful.

Airport proximity
There was a bottle of left over outside shampoo in the shower, so the cleaning ladies missed that.
The pull-out sofa bed was horrendous.
We only had 2 sets of towels for 3 people.
Breakfast was a C.
Small room for 3 people.
Extremely expensive for one night!

Proximity to airport and ease of access
The price was high which, I believe was due a high demand for a concert that evening, but still too expensive for a fairly standard hotel.
Also the front rooms - facing the runway- can be rather noisy with both the transfer bus and aircraft

The location is why I stayed there. It is so close to the airport making getting there for early departures more of a certainty. Their shuttles are scheduled every few minutes!
Because the property is so convenient for early fliers, I think they take advantage and charge higher room rates.
Also, not the best food so eat before you get there.
