Location, nice friendly staff.
Badly designed bathroom, tired decoration throughout the hotel, uncomfortable bed that squeaked. No sugar with tea and milk in the room.

I think management is missing a great opportunity in not changing
A couple of things to make this a very positive experience for their customers.
Because this location is quite remote from any restaurants you would think that they would
offer service and a dinner menu
That was appealing to their customers. Instead it was a huge disappointment on menu items, service and pricing that was 3-4 times higher than it should be for what they served. ( most items were pulled out of a freezer and baked or microwaved) charging outrageous prices for what you received.
The breakfast was good, so we know they have the cooking facilities to do 100% better than they do for the dinner.
We felt sorry for the staff as I did not see one table that was happy with the dinner. Most of the tables had 4 people and one or two people would receive their dinner at least 30 min. Before the rest of the other guests st the table.

It was in a great area , room was a good size , and clean , breakfast was nice .
We had a evening meal that we couldn’t eat . Also the fire alarm going off at 3;30 when we had to be up5;30 . It’s not a cheap room at 253

Convenient to airport and to drop off rental car; shuttle to the airport available at a small fee. Great hot breakfast, and convenient restaurant on site.
Shuttle is supposed to run every 10 minutes--we waited 30 minutes.

Stayed the night before we flew back to the USA. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Even though the Runway is very close, there was next to no aircraft noise. Great bus service (extra charge) to the Airport when needed.

Shuttle to/from airport was so easy & very quick. Good view of airport but not very noisy. Friendly welcome & friendly staff.
Beds and room ideal for our stay to visit Edinburgh.
All ok while we were there.
