With the astronomical room rate, I was appalled to have to pay for shuttle to airport.

Clean comfortable room. Nice choice at breakfast. I left too early for cooked food. A bit away from the airport terminal but was a shuttle bus.

Super welcome, lovely reception staff, very helpful. Good bar/serving staff, nice evening meal. Convenient for airport. Fabulous comfortable bed. Good breakfast selection.
If I had to be picky, the fact that one of the breakfast servers, when returning the empty dirty dish/waste trolley, looked at a discarded napkin on the dining room floor, where he had parked the trolley, but didn't pick it up. Sometimes it's the little things that niggle!

20 minute walk to tram and bus into edinburgh and glasgow
could drop and leave luggage before and after check in/out
very close to airport
breakfast was average for room price per night
breakfast area was not as clean as it could be with rubbish on the floor and serving areas not wiped or tidied during breakfast service
kitchen staff were slow in checking refilling of breakfast dishes

The bathroom was dirty, there was toilet paper in the toilet, someone had used the bathroom and didn't flush. There wasn’t enough towels for everyone in the room

We were fined for parking bespite being told by the staff that we could park anywhere near the hotel. If you park a car there make absolutely sure you both pay and get a receipt bespite what front desk tells you.

Staff were very helpful especially Tamsin who couldn't do enough to help us even though she was having to continue to work through the might having worked during the day. She even managed to get us some croissants for breakfast because we were leaving do early
Perhaps make all the phone charging points are working. Tamsin found us a plug to borrow. Thank you
