I like the area where the hotel is situated
Customer service was very poor - We did not appreciate the approach the receptionist (blond guy) had, quite rude and not welcoming/kind. On our arrival and on our checking out we felt disrespected.
We had our first breakfast at the cafe', the croissants were cold, old and tasteless - we ordered a blueberry muffins we were served a chocolate muffin, when we said that was not what we ordered they said that was the muffin they had. Why didn't they say at the time we ordered and paid?
We had no idea that if we leave our pijamas on the bed the policy says that you will not touch the bed when you make the room. We used plates and cutlery the first evening which stayed in the room until our departure. Another policy in place we weren't aware of?

Vicinity to Zoo & the swimming pool. Even thou it isn't private swimming lessons going on. We should go on a couple holiday next time. Apart from being next to zoo & having a pool our stay was not 4*.
I have plenty of experience of the working in all dept within a hotel & in the hospitality industry, this was extremely poor & I have nothing else to good to say about our stay. Still waiting on the discount to be reimbursed by your recommended hotel. 4* more like 2*
Everything was poor. The room was terrible, shower something from the 70's. Room was not ready & had to request the bathrobes & slippers which seemed like a inconvenience. Our room was supposed to be an upgrade it was disgusting. Lies about a city view. The top of a roof that had huge spot lights on directly into the room we got shoved in 224 I believe. Rather would forget the experience. False advertising about this place, must right their own good reviews under aliases. It was a dive upstairs. Bedroom carpet stained & we kept getting accused of smoking in the room. How insulting the 1st time, I said ok, we knew this. After I complained it happened a second time. What an insult!!!!!! Take it you won't help with the discount they said they took off that I have not received.
Last time I recommend you or use this company.

The hotel is on a good bus route to the city, easy reachable from the motorway. Its a known quality of room and service.
The menu could do with a refresh. The complementary items such as biscuits, sugar could do with replenishing on the subsequent days.

We had a flight from Edinburgh so stayed the night. Location was perfect, easy bus from train station and then straight into airport next day. Booked in by Kyle who was so lovely and even dropped off cards and chocolate as it was my daughter’s 21st - so amazing.
