Central location, about 20 min bus ride to city centre. Very convenient with a bus stop right outside.
The rooms were rather small and felt quite old. Though there were some new refurbishments in the lobby.

WiFi didn’t work in the room. Room 117. Annoying. Says parking included but we had to pay as full.

Location to Murrayfield Scottish gas Stadium only.
The price was ridiculously expensive, a total scandal ! We will be looking elsewhere next year for a less expensive hotel. Don't like being ripped off !

The location is good. Next to the zoo and lots of bus links into the city.
Bar and pool are very good.
Room is quite small, particularly the bathroom.
Breakfast buffet was extensive, but food was often cold or undercooked.

Ease of access to Murrayfield, literally a 10 minute walk had us at the West Gate of Murrayfield.
The bar area was bustling and very busy on both occasions we were in the hotel.
We dropped our bags off at reception before we could check in and managed to get a parking space in the Zoo car park right beside the hotel for £4.50 for 24 hours
We didn't try breakfast but no complaints whatsoever on our experience at the hotel.
Bed was good, no noise late at night. Room was large, bright and modern with all the right amenities.
No complaints at all. THANKS

Room heating didn’t appear to work heater sent up however when returning to room after leaving it on room smelt damp although was warm

Food was not up to the mark . I am a regular customer of holiday Inn but this stay was worse so far. Hotel was not clean and not maintained well.

The communal area (e.g. the restaurant/bar) was nice and it was conveniently located near a bus stop, with regular buses into Edinburgh city centre. Good free parking too.
The room was very tired in the twin room we were in and so was the corridor.
It was hugely overpriced and should be 3-star, but the pool & restaurant facilities give it its 4-stars.
Maybe some rooms are better furbished than the twin rooms?

Check in staff great along with breakfast staff.
Check out is 12 noon however between 9.30 and 10.45 I had three people at the door with first person knocking second walking in and third trying to get in but couldn't due to chain on door. Didn't feel safe as a solo traveller. Reception staff informed and very apologetic
