Well positioned with bus stop outside the hotel that provided options for getting into the city. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpfull. Breakfast had lots of choices and well staffed. Great service.
Common areas were well used and it was starting to looked aged. Lifts were slow in the morning. Took me 10 mins to get a lift from.2nd floor.

All was very comfortable and staff was really good.
The parking needs sorting out either use a machine to pay for parking or pay at reception, the code style is not very good. Also got a parking notice even though I had paid the correct money, still having problems with the company you use. You need to look into the reviews not one good one

The price, due to an event at the nearby stadium the price of the room seemed excessive.

Central heating / cooling system was not working . It was hot day with no cooling / refrigeration.
Have to open up the windows , noisy for kids during sleep hours
Staff declined the request to transfer over to another room . No refund offered

The location was great and easy to access the Edinburgh City Centre by bus and some attractions also walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and meet my expectations.

The free breakfast was ok but the food was a top quality.
I ordered an accessible room for my disabled partner a months in advance and on the arrival they put us in a single room which was badly inappropriate and hugely disappointing!Eventhough, I messaged a few times the reception that we need an accessible room.
On the arrival, I complained and a friendly staff member gave us a little bit bigger room for my partner with a small shower room with no hand rails. Overall, the service was ok but the room was not i paid for!

This hotel is several miles from city centre and the castle - far enough away to be in a quiet area. We had a great view of the castle from our room. You can catch a bus from across the street - local bus service is brilliant and are frequent. Bar and food is available 24/7. The bedroom was very comfortable and well designed. Breakfast area is well managed by very professional staff.
Obviously the Edinburgh Festival was running so every hotel in town is going to increase their price. I imagine this hotel would be good value for money in normal times, but this certainly wasn’t. Staff could pay attention to the seating area outside once in a while = clean it, and the bins.
