Room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was good except for the bacon, very dried up both days.
We also had dinner each and snacks. The fish and chips and the pizza for our dinner were excellent. The problem we had was the size of the meals, (too large) we are over 80 years old and could not eat all of the servings. We also had a cheese and ham toastie at lunchtimes, these were excellent.
We enjoyed our stay and would have enjoyed our dinners if there was an option for a smaller portion available.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bedroom and en suite were very clean. The breakfast was good and on the one evening we ate there, dinner was very good too.
The location is good with a bus stop pretty much outside the hotel.
Good value for the price.
The bedroom wasn't very big. There were no shelves or drawers for clothes, and only a very small alcove with a rail, which acted as a wardrobe. This would be adequate for a one night stay but, as we were staying for 3 nights, we had to live out of our suitcases and there wasn'tmuch room for those. As with pretty much all hotels, there was only one chair in a room for two.

breakfast was very busy so they told us to go down before a certain time. but they managed this very well and there was plenty to eat.
parking was OK
bus stop right outside and very frequent into the centre of the city
our sink was broken so we couldn't use it properly , they offered to move us late at night first night but we chose to stay and they said they would do a refund of some of the cost BUT they never did. they fixed the sink the next day.
the room was fine it was basic and small but it was clean.
the price was cheaper than having a hotel in the centre.
there is a bar you can have a drink at in the evening and food if you want it
it was only 15 minutes easy bus journey into the city but i probably will book central next time. would have liked more help with tourist information as we didn't know if you could get a bus t the beach or where the coast was and bus times etc

We had a large room with a sofa that was roomy and comfortable The windows had a great view of Edinburgh and the castle. The ensuite was small but workable.
Breakfast was included and was tasty and well run by the staff.
Bus stop outside. Bus 43 gets you into Edinburgh near Edinburgh Waverley Station.

Pleasant stay, really clean rooms and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Splendid view from the room to the city.
They can improve on the breakfast as it is really delicious and nourishing but they should add more choices. If you stay more than 3 days you can get bored of it. More pastry and more cold buffet top on the of basics, 2 or 3 types of cheese would perk up the menu.

Location is perfect for getting to and from the city centre good car parking and a fuel station in close proximity.
Bathroom could do with some maintenance and the menu could be improved .
