The location was very good and accessible

Very handy for train station & visiting Murrayfield. Very small room but clean enough & good enough for night or two

A late check-in was no problem. Reception staff were friendly at check-in and check-out. The room was clean and comfortable, with an en-suite bathroom.
Basic big hotel but that was what I was expecting. No window in the room I booked, but that wasn't a big issue.

Room without windows and temperature was not to control
Room was way too warm and we complained at the reception twice. They told us they would lower the temperature in our room but nothing happened.

The location and view of the room.
Rooms were too small that we couldn't even walk properly. Secondly, when we asked for water bottle so it was not available and they recommend us to use tap water for drinking which was quite weird. They even didn't have water bottles in the hotel which was most shocking and bad thing for us.

Room wasn't fully cleaned and had the same bed linen for the 6 nights had to pay 60 pound more than expected because i wasn't made aware that I booked a windowless room

It’s straight across from Haymarket Train Station and they’ll pick you up from the airport if required. I emailed ahead to see if I could drop off my bags before check in and they quickly replied saying no problem, able to leave bags after check out as well. Reception staff are friendly and helpful, there is free tea/coffee/water at reception just help yourself, also a nice seating area where you can enjoy your coffee or take it up to your room, you can buy snacks and other drinks from reception.
The room was perfectly adequate, it was me and my daughter and we got a twin room, it’s not massive but given the location you’re not there to be in the hotel all day. Beds were very comfortable, everything you needed was there, enough sockets and usb ports in the right places. Tv with basic channels as well. Bathroom was clean, towels provided and shampoo/shower gel in the shower, a note on the wall to say if you’ve forgotten toothpaste/toothbrush etc just give reception a call and they’ll provide it.
There was a breakfast option although we didn’t take it.
There’s lots of places to eat and drink on the same road, I wish we had stayed longer to explore them.
A nice clean hotel perfect to use as a base to explore Edinburgh with lovely staff.
The floor outside the lifts was very worn and needs replaced. The rest was faultless.
