The staff were all lovely, friendly, and welcoming. Tea and coffee are available at the reception. The hotel is situated near lots of transport links. So you can get to a lot of places and it's only about a 30 min walk into Edinburgh centre which isn't a bad walk.
I had trouble sleeping, I found the bed too hard, and the pillows were too. It would have been nice to have the basics to make a hot drink in the room.

On arrival staff were friendly and efficient. The location is excellent with plenty of transport options, pubs and restaurants near entrance to hotel. I would happily recommend hotel to anybody wishing to visit Edinburgh, however, it can be quite noisy as located on a busy thoroughfare.
Was quite noisy at times throughout evening but this is to be expected in a city centre hotel.

I highly recommend Garner Hotel because it is in a great location, well connected with buses and the tram. I loved the tiny bedroom,cosy and well organised.

Hotel was very conveniently locate in front of the Haymarket Station, easily accessible. Bed was big, nice and comfy and the bathroom was clean.
That the reception desk was at a mezzanine level so you had to carry luggage a few flights of stairs before checking-in.
