Well situated, the bus and tram were just 2 minutes away for easy access to the city centre. Lovely restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and had everything you need.

Location is convenient to the tram.
The breakfast was very bad: small selection of cold items, a few warm dishes prepared on demand. It starts at 7:30 and takes over 30 min to get the order. A better option is to go to one of the many lovely cafés/bakeriea nearby. During our stay there was a situation with a defective smoke detector, which was only partially fixed and nobody could sleep as a result. Note there is no assistance, not even an emergency number, past 23:30. The staff was not understanding of the inconvenience this caused unfortunately, so we had to liaise via the customer service.

We stayed during the Fringe Festival for 3 nights, so it was perfect - out of the main area but a very short walk to the tram and train and cafe and supermarket close by. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

The hotel is perfectly located, very close to train station, tram stops and several busses, about 20 min walking from princess Street gardens. The room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable, the area is nice and quiet

Hotel is located in a beautiful town house and is very accessible by public transport. City centre can bee easily reached on foot. Hotel staff is very kind, they accomodated my need for a (very) late check in. The breakfast is very good, there is a small buffet and you can order cooked food.
Since the hotel is located in a townhouse, it is very authentic, but also quite loud (e.g. you can hear everyone walking in the hallway). My room was also very small, which might be a problem for some people.

We loved the old rooms, they were nice and big.
Our room was extremely noisy during the course of the night with people coming and going, slamming of doors and loud chatter with also the loud chatter outside on the street. We could not close the windows fully which was disappointing.
Other then that the room was spacious and clean. The front office staff were lovely and very helpful.

Lovely hotel,staff very attentive and friendly. Very clean and great breakfast. Close to Haymarket train station and buses and trams. Perfect stay.
Our room had wooden stairs and they were very noisy/creaky.....didn't ruin our stay but only thing we could think of!
