We truly enjoyed our stay ?The staff were kind, welcoming & helpful. The fresh waffles at breakfast were amazing, with a wide variety of toppings available. I especially appreciated the high quality of everything from the Cadbury chocolate spread and Arla whipped cream to the good coffee. It’s a 3-star hotel that truly delivers 5-star standards.

the breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh baked bread. The location was amazing. It is right on three bus lines, and a one block walk to a fourth. There are half a dozen fast food places within two blocks, and a full service restaurant in the lobby.
There are no pubs in the area, but you can take the #1 bus to the Shakespeare.

The buffet breakfast was awful. No choice or variety, particularly for people with food intolerances. If you have gluten and lactose intolerances don't waste your money, find elsewhere to eat. Asked for boiled eggs (mind you served cold), when finished as could not eat the only other option of scrambled eggs as contained milk, was told bad luck we out of eggs till delivery this afternoon. What a joke, particularly for the Hilton brand. I was offered a better breakfast with fresh and more options at a 2"star hotel.

The staff on reception on arrival were excellent we even got a complimentary drink because it was our wedding anniversary. Then found out the rest of the staff were also great. The restaurant downstairs (Sofia's) was fabulous
the only fault I found was the wash basin in the bathroom. I'm only 5ft 2in and the marble top was a bit large, so I could just to say wash my face lol

We stayed 10 days, so maybe switch up a couple breakfast items, but what they had was great!! Efficient staff restocking and cleaning tables, friendly.

Minor niggle - listing says "Private parking at the hotel", not quite true - they can offer parking at the nearby Quay2 offices, in the public section of the underground car park. It's not free, but it's discounted compared to the public rate.

No welcome on arrival, check in was very cold and unwelcoming, needed help with parking and staff acted annoyed when we enquired, mind you first time in this city let alone hotel and the first thing we experience is several grumpy hotel employees who seem irritated by their job. Coming from a tourism background ourselves this was a very poor experience and a lot of imnprovement is needed with the staff attitude towards guests. Breakfast was so bad, stale oily food first thing in the morning, surrounded by staff standing around chatting but the food and service is so poor.
