The location, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean.
The windows didn’t open and the room took too long to cool down. There was aircon but took too long to make much difference. We were there on a lovely weekend in March. Breakfast was overcooked but it did say it was free so can’t really complain. I would stay there again but might keep it between October and March

The location is very central, just 10 mins from bus and tram to the airport, near a Tesco express and bus stop to city center. And you can walk there too.
The room design was weird and uncomfortable for a couple. The bathroom is adjacent to a wardrobe that is adjacent to the room and the wardrobe and the bathroom share the same sliding door. However, when the door closes on the bathroom side, it exposes an open part of the wall from the bathroom to the room. So there’s no privacy in the bathroom (sounds, smells…). We have been to other Hampton by Hilton hotels before and never seen this. The staff assured us this is the same in all the rooms. Also, there were other things that made it uncomfortable: leaky shower head that could not stand still on its stand, spraying water outside of the shower, space for only one person to hang a towel in the bathroom and the ventilator in the bathroom did not work either.

The Reception Staff were very friendly and helpful which was a good start when checking in. Breakfast was plentiful . The room was very clean and modern.

Room was spotless. Comfortable bar area
Car park at rear of building. No disabled bay offered. Had to get from rear to front of hotel with sticks No consideration for disabled. Pity about graffitied boards directly across from front of hotel
