Location good, breakfast good.
Backflow in the toilet from time to time also smelled musty. The room was right above the fitness centre and we could hear weights etc being dropped from as early as 6.30 am.

Breakfast was reasonable. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent.

Comfortable and clean with friendly and helpful staff. Room was a good size for a city centre hotell

Easy access (20/25) mins walk to the central spots, some good restaurants closer. Bus stop outside. Queen room with extra sofabed very spacious comfortable and well equipped. Parking available behind.
Big tour groups, over-busy breakfasts, some silly design aspects in room , no views.

I think the property is okay and clean.
I think they need to improve on the customer service at the reception. I’ve travelled for more than 7 hours just to get to the hotel but it seems they need to show more concern with the customer.

Pleasant
The location, access to restaurants, shops and supermarket. Breakfast is also nice.
I would love the rooms to be a bit more spacious or a bit more design consideration for a family of 3. Luggage storage, opening and closing the luggage when the sofa cum bed is open was tough. The shower area could also be better and can be improved.

We didn't find it easy to find but once we had spoken to a very helpful young man in reception and he advised us on bus numbers etc it was fine

The rooms were clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was poor for a premium hotel. The range of options were limited and nothing was fresh.
Also, the reception staff seemed disinterested when we arrived - we were surprised not to be greeted warmly.

Overall a nice hotel from which you can have a walk into downtown Edinburgh.
Nothing special, breakfest room was always crowded and a bit windy.
